Title: King Burrito: A Culinary Crown Jewel
As a seasoned aficionado of all things Mexican cuisine burrito, I've traversed the culinary landscape far and wide, seeking out the most authentic and flavorful experiences. And let me tell you, King Burrito has rightfully earned its place among the royalty of Mexican burritos.
Upon entering their humble abode, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant aroma of freshly prepared ingredients, tantalizing my taste buds and setting the stage for my hungry adventure. The décor, a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern touches, exuded a welcoming ambiance that instantly put me at ease.
My gastronomic journey commenced with the King Burrito namesake, a behemoth of culinary steak and shrimp burrito. The first bite was an explosion of flavors, with the succulent carnitas dancing harmoniously with the velvety beans, all enveloped in a warm embrace of fluffy rice and savory cheese. Each ingredient played its part flawlessly, creating a symphony of taste that left me wanting more.
The tender meat, infused with a medley and the subtle sweetness of onions, creating a harmonious balance of flavors that left my palate in awe.
The accompanying three great spices, a vibrant trio of red, green, and roasted chipotle, were each a masterpiece in their own right. The red, a fiery symphony of heat and flavor, ignited my taste buds, while the green, a refreshing blend of cilantro and tomatillo, provided a cooling counterpoint. The roasted chipotle, a smoky and subtly sweet concoction, added a depth of flavor that elevated the entire dining experience.
As I concluded my gastronomic odyssey, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and gratitude for the culinary artistry that King Burrito had bestowed upon me. Their dedication to authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere has undoubtedly earned them a place among the culinary elite.
So, if you're seeking an authentic Mexican dining experience that will transport your taste buds to a paradise of flavors, look no further than King Burrito. Their culinary crown awaits, ready to bestow upon you a feast fit...
Read moreMy husband and I were so excited to see this place come to town! We had wanted to visit the one in Cozumel but never did. This place was clean and bright (too bright for my liking but I am sensitive to light)with plenty of parking. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and everyone was so friendly. We had great conversations with the team about traveling. We also had the pleasure of meeting Carter, the owner. He shared the story of how he brought the restaurant here.
As for food, we had chips & bean dip, quacamole, the #2 and #5 burritos. They have 2 different sizes of burritos, 12 inch and 14 inch. The Chico is ginormous and more than enough to share, I can't imagine the super. The chips were great very crisp with a strong taste of corn. You could tell they were house made. The quacamole was good with chunks of tomatoes but no other filler. My husband is a quacamole connoisseur and he really liked it. The bean dip was good as well with queso on top, just the way I like it. Their salsas are homemade with three heat levels and come on the side. If you really like them they sell them by the bottle.
As for burritos I really liked mine, especially the shrimp. They were perfectly cooked with a good amount of garlic butter. My husband had asada and it was thickly shredded versus chunks of meat which makes it easier to eat and I prefer. I am very picky about meat and this had a good flavor and texture. As an added bonus the burritos are grilled, so that was a nice surprise. If you don't want a burrito you can get the ingredients as a bowl.
My husband and I agreed next time we can share a burrito with the dips as that is more than enough for the two of us. And yes, there will be a next time since it was good and so close to where we live. Also very hospitable. You can tell they were happy to be there and so happy we were as well.
See y'all again soon! Thank...
Read moreDECEPTIVE MARKETING This is a warning to all future customers, this restaurant is calling ground beef, asada. The food was disgusting, the ratings for this restaurant must have been paid for as both the most popular options were both disgusting. 2 Burritos, 1 Chips and Guac and a mexican coke was $40. When the food came out to the table both items had ground beef on them. Two bites in and it was clear this food was garbage. When we asked the front clerk about why the meat was ground beef and not asada as listed on the menu, we were told that it was and they tried to convince us that it was. When we told them that we would just like a refund, it was refused. When we asked to speak to a manager to authorize that refund, the clerk called a lady named Rachel, who when told the situation and was asked for a refund, we were told that we could get a free burrito and chips. We refused that due to the fact the food was gross. We stated we wanted a refund as we will not be eating there again and we were told that not how we operate.
Once again we asked the cashier for a phone number and or refund, and he denied it. He said by the way you are not the first customer to point this out and have this exact thing happen.
I will be reaching out to the district manager tomorrow and my bank to get this resolved.
The 2 stars that were given for the atmosphere was based on cleanliness, but that probably because no...
