Genti’s knows how to deal with people’s concerns. More importantly, they have high quality food. We just moved to the area and out of the 3 pizza places we tried, they are the best! I ordered a veggie pizza with no black olives. Unfortunately, they had the pizza delivered with no black or green olives. I don’t usually complain but green olives are my favorite topping. I ordered twice from Genti’s. Both times they forgot the green olives. But hey...they are human just like the rest of us. It’s not the problem that annoys people...it’s how business owners approach the problem. Bes got on the phone right away and told me he was going to send out a corrected large pizza to compensate for the medium I ordered. If he wasn’t there, he told me to inform his wife Red to compensate me next time. It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. That goes a long way for me. I didn’t get the large pizza delivered because I had a perfectly good pizza but without my green olives I love so much. Would I order from them again? Definitely.

We visited Gentri’s in Hickory Creek for the first time to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our go-to Italian spot was closed, so we decided to give Gentri’s a try—and we’re so glad we did. The service was fast and friendly, and every dish we ordered tasted incredibly fresh. I had a seafood pasta that was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pasta was outstanding, the seafood was delicious, and the house rolls were honestly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Portions were generous—none of us left hungry, and four out of five of us brought home leftovers. You can tell everything is made with care, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a family celebration. We’ll definitely be adding Gentri’s to our regular rotation. Highly recommend!

Are you kidding me? That was, is, and always has been, the best Italian/Pub/Fun/ Atmosphere/Service I ever get. Love, love this place. The Cannelloni, and I'm talking good cannelloni. It comes out, you know, piping hot, boiling on the sides just a little bit, letting out a sweet and savory smell of deliciousness. The cheese is winking at you, saying, "Come on, you know you want some , ....easy hungry fella, let it cool down just little bit. " Butter a roll or something else, maybe order one of the satisfying beers they have bottled or one on tap, while the that's cooling off. I could go on and on the spaghetti and meat balls, the pizza to the house salad dressing, you won't be disappointed 😋.

We ordered delivery food. They left it at our doorstep without ringing the doorbell, knocking or calling to let us know it was there. We called to find out when it had been delivered and why we weren’t notified. The driver claimed he couldn’t open our screen door to access our doorbell. We checked and found that our screen door was NOT locked but gave them the benefit of the doubt, heated up the food and didn’t dispute the charges. Recently it happened again. After waiting quite some while we looked outside to see if the driver was having a hard time finding our home in the dark. There was our food, sitting on the cold cement outside our front door in 30 degree weather! No doorbell ring, no knocking, no calling, just left for us to discover at some point. We called and told them to come pick up their cold food and credit the credit card fees. This was the second time and this time it was even colder! We paid for delicious HOT food to be delivered! We won’t be giving them any more money because they don’t train THIER employees to know the policies or how to deliver food properly. The owner was down right rude and called us liars when we told her what HER EMPLOYEE had told us. I should’ve known better than to patronize their restaurant since they paid my son under the table when he worked there in high school. No W-4, or any other paperwork. I figured it was just a little cutting of corners, but I should have reported...

My wife and I almost always enjoy Genti’s for date night and other nights as well. Excellent food and typically excellent service. This is why I am giving a 3 star review instead of a 1 star. My wife and I went there tonight expecting the same experience. We called ahead to make sure what time they closed and were told 10:00pm (Friday night). When we arrived it was around 8:45 and the parking lot was very empty. When we went inside, the restaurant was equally empty which prompted me to confirm the closing time. The young lady that came to greet us did confirm the 10:00 pm closing time HOWEVER, they were only seating in the bar area. We thought we misheard and asked to sit in a booth and again were told only the bar area was available. We wanted a nice, quiet dinner to talk, eat and drink wine (typically close to $100 check) but instead we left. As we were sitting in the car figuring out what other restaurant to go to, several cars pulled up and 2, maybe 3 families went inside. At least 15 people with children. Were they going to seat all those people, with the children, in the bar area? We did not wait to see if they walked back out, but we could make out several figures through a window NOT going in the direction of the bar. We left and went to another establishment and had drinks and food within 20 mins. As I write this, it is only 9:40 pm. 20 mins before Genti’s closes. Very disappointed and suspect waitstaff laziness...

UPDATE: 11/14/2024

First of all, I love dining in! The staff is always great! Also entertaining too by their personalities are who's over at the bar if you're sitting near it you will definitely get laughs. You feel like you are a huge family while you're eating there, even other customers. You'll have conversations with whoever you're sitting by! It is truly like an Italian family environment! I should know I'm Italian! Lol

So I have tried all of these items! Also, all portions are large!

Best Thing, ever!!! Are the first two!

Rigatoni with chicken with pink vodka sauce (OMG The pink sauce is the best ever! I've never had this before, and none one can compare to it!)

Manicotti (I love Ricotta Cheese)*

Fried Calamari Rolls *Garlic Bread Caesar Salad *Cannelloni *Pasta Trio Cannelloni, Manicotti, and Lasagna (really good to try all different items if you're unsure as what to get) *Chicken Alfredo *Chicken Parmigiana *Chocolate Cake To the owners: Would you please 🙏 open up one in San Antonio, Texas? I believe you would do great there! Also we are moving and I'm going to miss the food!

We now go there all the time! This is by far the BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT around! I love...
