Homer's Neighborhood Bar — Restaurant in Texas

Great bar that has karaoke which was recommended by a group of people I met at a different venue. The karaoke playlist is extensive and the environment is very welcoming to all participants.There is always a great mix of people to meet and chat with. The bar is divided into two separate sides(karaoke on one side and on the other side: pool tables,games,digital jukebox, and multiple tvs for sports viewing).All the bartenders are good but Freddy is the greatest bartender ever(remembers my name, my drink which I always get with orange slices) with CJ(?) 2nd. I have even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr.Homer himself as well as his wife Shelly and they are genuine people who care about their customers. Food is available from the nearby restaurants and you can bring in food. Smoking is allowed however you don’t have to worry about being “smoked” out if you’re not a smoker. It’s a neighborhood bar AND a karaoke bar that you can still smoke in. Great selection of draft beer including some locals. Full bar from budget booze to top self spirits, plenty of tv’s with the game on and a karaoke area with the best kJ in town and you’d be hard pressed to name a song not in his library! Knowledgeable and friendly staff and even the owners work some shifts to keep their finger on the pulse of their place. They treat staff as family and their customers as longtime and dear friends. Homer's is a neighborhood bar. It's divided into two sections with the bar in the middle. When you walk in, you're in the main bar where patrons can visit, play pool and do the normal bar activities. The other side is for karaoke. Homer's offers karaoke 7 nights a week. Behind the bar, Homer's works a regular shift and is a pleasure to talk to.

Homer's is just outside the city limits, so smoking is allowed inside of the bar. This is an attraction for many of the regular patrons.
