Rude - will not use for meetings again! I placed a delivery order for a company lunch meeting on 9/19/2018. Everything was fine except that a few people had ordered cookies and those had not been delivered. Not that big a deal - at least everyone received their meal. I placed a quick call to let them know they had not delivered the cookies. I was not angry, just wanted to let them know to be more careful in the future and ask them to remove the charge for the items. I was passed from the first female employee who had answered the phone to another. I was shocked at the rude inappropriate response I received from this second employee. She aggressively told me that it was not possible that anything had been left out of our order; that we just hadn't found them. I explained that we had gone through all bags repeatedly looking and they were not part of the delivery. I was rudely told that the manager had packed our order himself and that everything was correct. I repeated that we had reopened all bags and containers from both of the large bags used to deliver the order, and they simply were not included. The employee then said that we were looking in the wrong bags. That she knew the cookies had been placed in a small bag separate from all the other items that were delivered in the two large bags. I told her we only received the two large bags filled with individual orders, that there was no separate small bag delivered. She rudely huffed and said fine, I'll refund you even though I know you received a complete order, and then abruptly hung up. She not only never apologized for the error, she never allowed a moment to consider that something wasn't delivered to us. She basically said that they were perfect and incapable of any mistakes and that I was dishonest or stupid. If there was a small separate bag, why on earth would it not have been place in with the rest of the order? And, if I were going to make up missing items to ask for a refund on, why would I pick the cheapest items? Wherever they put that little bag, it was not delivered to our office. They made a minor incident become a major issue for us because of the rudeness. And to top it all- she did not process the refund as she had said. We used to frequently use a Jason's Deli near our offices for lunch meetings, and we were always pleased. Unfortunately a recent move of our office location changed which Jason's Deli location is near enough to deliver to us. This one on Mason Road will not ever...
Read moreI live out of town so this is a treat when I come to Jason's deli. First, the lady that took my order was really having a hard time understanding my order. Everything was for there, except for one bowl of broccoli and cheese soup to go. She asked me several times if everything was to go or if it was for there. I told her everything was for there except for the soup that I needed it to go. I go to get my salad plate and the rest of the food was at the table. No broccoli and cheese soup to go. I had to go back to counter and explain that I had also ordered a soup to go. Then I had to ask for a bag for it.
I ordered the salad bar (I make the exact salad every time) mixed greens, feta cheese, purple onion, olives and ranch dressing. I go to make my salad and they have no olives. I asked if they had any in the back and she said not tonight. It may not be a big deal to some people, but I wanted the olives because that's how I make this particular salad that I thought I was going to have. I go to the table and I go up to get the Jason's deli crackers. There were none at the salad bar and the girl told me they are out, but a delivery truck would be there tonight.
I have not been to this location in several months, but I have been coming here for almost twenty years. I am not sure if management has changed, or if they just had a really busy week and were out of everything. Maybe it was a new employee that took my order or maybe she was just really tired. I will most likely eat there again. The food is good. The service was way off and they were out of staples that they...
Read moreI ordered online because I can not go into restaurants on Mason close to I10. Especially not after having chemo the week before. I couldn’t pay online with my $23.00 gift card. I was called as I pulled into the parking lot and told I needed to make a payment before I picked up my food. I explained that I couldn’t go into the restaurant because of my weakened immune system. I paid over the phone. Unfortunately my husband’s Dr. Pepper was not included with our order. I found out that my sandwich had Thousand Island dressing after I bit into it. I bought this particular sandwich without sauce because I know my stomach can handle it after chemo. I’m not normally an unhappy person but I do stand my ground when I’m right. I called and spoke with the same person who took my payment info over the phone. I explained what I discovered when I got home. Of course she had to double check the computer. She found that this was their mistake not mine. She didn’t offer me a refund or a free sandwich. I would have taken the sandwich back the next day to prove it was made incorrectly. My vomiting was triggered again by the sandwich. I was as weak as a newborn pup! Now, a week later I feel stronger and I’m not happy with the way the situation was handled. I feel taken advantage of because I didn’t act like a “Karen”. Why couldn’t she just do the right thing? Why must a scene be made in order for some people to just DO THE RIGHT THING!? I couldn’t fight about the situation because I was too weak but I think I was expected to fight and scream! That’s not right. That’s not...
