Response to Jersey Mike’s:
If you review your security footage and audio, you’ll clearly hear me order only a gluten-free bun with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I never asked for cheese or provolone at any point.
Your employee even wrote those exact instructions on the order note: “gluten-free bun, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo.” So I don’t know why would she add provolone cheese. When I never mentioned it.
Despite that, cheese was added — which caused my wife to have an awful allergic reaction.
Please check the footage and audio again before making statements that contradict what actually happened. ————————————————————— I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Jersey Mike’s today (October 7th, 1:08pm). I made it very clear when ordering that I needed a gluten-free bun with NO cheese due to a severe allergy. I specifically ordered only turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato.
The employee (a lady with pinkish hair and piercings) even wrote down exactly what I wanted on the order slip, yet somehow still put cheese all over the sandwich. My wife ate it and is now suffering from a serious allergic reaction because of this mistake. This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a dangerous health issue that could have had far worse consequences.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I left a generous tip, trusting they would prepare the food carefully and correctly. Instead, my trust was broken.
Food allergies are a matter of health and safety, not just preference. The lack of attention to such a clear request is unacceptable and deeply...
Read moreDo you get annoyed when you receive a food coupon in the mail for places like Jersey Mike's, Firehouse Subs, and the like, and in the print, it says, "Valid at Participating Locations." There is nothing wrong with this statement per se. The problem I have with it is that you don't know who's participating or not. I showed up to the Jersey Mike's, University Blvd. location in Riverstone and ordered 3 regular subs according to the coupons. After ordering the subs and preparing to pay, I was informed that the location was not a participating location. Imagine my annoyance, although I will admit, I should have inquired before placing the order. However, not wanting to waste food, I completed and paid for my order. Since the advertiser or Jersey Mike's FAILED to fully inform, as to the participating locations, next time, I'm throwing the coupons in the Trash 🗑!
So, Jersey Mike's responded to my post and more concerned with the quality of their food. To answer their question, It was a typical sub type sandwich just like the others. There are other options, and I have no desire to eat at any Jersey Mike's...
Read moreMy initial review was a 1 star due to my online order showing pickup of 12:30 and it taking an extra 25 minutes. I understand things get backed up but the person working asked who I was picking up for, they had my order but the 2 sandwiches were just sitting there. 4 additional walk-ins came and they continued to finish their orders while my food was left unprepared. Whats the point of ordering ahead and being proactive? Anyways, management responded to the review and asked me to email them directly and offered coupons. I felt, okay, this place owns up to their mistake and cares for service. So I emailed them and even went as far as updating my review to a 4 star, I didn't hear anything, but giving the benefit, I ordered once more from here to give them a shot. Order was prepared timely, however, I get home and the bread options on my 2 sandwiches were switched. I followed up with them via email again, 4 times now. Not a single response, so the only thing I can do is leave review as is and I guess I'll be going to the location in Sienna if I want Jersey...
