I had the food catered for a party to be delivered and set up for a BD party at the Hampton Inn in Humble, TX on 12/ 17/22. I called a month in advance and spoke with Jr several times to make sure everything would go without any problems. I got the chicken fajita package for 80 people. $1300.00. I had to buy the drinks myself. A gallon of tea was $9.00 if I got it from them. I was told he gave me a discount of free delivery. I was going to pay with the debit card I gave them once the food was delivered. But earlier that day when I confirmed that everything was on point, I told them I would be paying cash. They were to be at the event at 6:00 PM. Party started at 7:00 PM. They were on time, but no plates, cups, plastic ware, napkins or anything. Delivery person said he didn't know anything but to deliver. On top of that they had charged my debit card for $285.42. He couldn't tell me why, and when I had him call the restaurant I was told I didn't pay for the setup. That would have been an extra $100 and something more dollars. I had to leave the party and go to Walmart and spend $67.00 on serving spoons and everything else. Of course Jr or no one else in charge could be reached. The delivery guy had my written out receipt and the voided receipt where they had charged my card. I called for three days for Jr. They took my number and said he would call me back. He was always off work or wouldn't be in until after five. I live in the Dallas area, so I couldn't go in there. All I can say is that they are lucky I'm not local. The $285.42 was back in my account today 12/21/22. I never had an explanation as to why or what that charge was for. It was unauthorized. I won't recommend long distance business with Julia's. But, to be the nice person I am, I will say their food was really good. I had a lot of family there that live in Houston asking me who catered the food. I told them, but never mentioned my negative experience. Thanks for letting me vent. I...

I went for cinco de mayo. Got there before the rush and was seated immediately. I ordered a beef quesadilla and I even pointed at the menu where it said QUESADILLA. She brought back fajitas for one. I told her I ordered a quesadilla and she said “no you said fajita for one”. How are you going to tell me what I ordered? I know exactly what I ordered. Never in my life have I ever accidentally order something I didn’t want. Got an half effort apology, didn’t even try to make it right. We sat there awkwardly until she finally offered to switch it but I was so hungry I said whatever and ate some. the chips and salsa were good but as for the food; it was a little bland. Little to no seasoning. I also ordered a margarita which was good. Though I asked the waitress for the specials and she told me the apple margarita. Not the flavor I’d usually go for but, hey who doesn’t love a deal? Well it ended up costing the same as my friend’s margarita that was different… So clearly she didn’t know what she was talking about or doing. But I will say, she was overall polite despite the order mess up. Then they charged me the full price of the fajitas which I understand since I didn’t want to send them back and wait even longer for her to get it right. So the customer service was worse than the food. Their other dishes did look and...

This place for one is not prepared for large crowds. Ordered street tacos and received what looked like tacos from Taco Bell. Told the manager that’s not what I ordered and he brought back wet looking tortillas with plain chicken. I told the manager again that’s not what I ordered and didn’t eat the food nor was I going to pay. The manager is a older Hispanic male and I’m not sure if it’s a language barrier but kept saying that’s not fair for the staff that made it. He completely dismiss that isn’t fair for me as a customer to eat or pay for something I didn’t order. His nephew who looked to be around 18 and is a waiter there heard the entire exchange and came to my table and apologized for his uncle (the manager) behavior and tried to hand me a 20 dollar bill to pay for the food. I told the young man who was very kind that’s ok. This is so sad and unprofessional place. Management needs better training and they need to hire more better English speaking staff. Never going back nor...

This is mostly a review for their to go food. We are a family of 5 and used to order the to go fajita packs from Los Cucos; we found they were very inconsistent. Sometimes there would be a noticeable size discrepancy of the amount of meat (on the same order size), the quality of the meat (sometimes a ton of fat), and sometimes the meat from Los Cucos would be extra wet. We gave Julia’s a shot for the same and haven’t went back to Los Cucos in at least a year. The meat quality is much better. Never wet and the amount is always the same for the order size. The tortillas are home made and delicious. And it’s less expensive as well. I occasionally go and eat there and the service is always very good as well. Highly recommend.
