I couldn’t wait to get home to leave a review about this horrible establishment. Me and a fellow colleague went here for lunch after a business seminar, we wanted to try something new outside of our usual eateries; Pappasito’s, or Lupe Tortilla’s. We asked about specials and prices, the manager who was serving us was rude from the jump and said he did not know the price (how are you the manager and you don’t know of specials/prices?). So, my colleague asked him to find out, he did, and we made the order. We both ordered a margarita, her a small and me a large. He brings them back to us and gives us each other drinks in error and after being told he gets it right, mine came, and the glass was dirty, it had lipstick in two different places. So, I sent it back by waitress to fix. After tasting my drink, I sent it back because it tasted like dish detergent, it had a funny taste. So, we ordered our food, it came out and again, we were given each other’s meals, so again we swapped it out. When it’s time to pay we have separate checks, I pay cash and leave a five-dollar tip, and my colleague pays with credit card. Again, he gets this wrong and brings me her credit card and receipt, I explain to him for our entire time here he has not been attentive and keeps getting our orders and service wrong, he gets an attitude and tells me I am being rude. He goes to say I ordered two drinks and sent them back, I said no I sent the first one back due to a dirty glass and the second one back because I did not like the taste. He keeps going on after I have stopped talking to him and now, I am only speaking to my colleague. He stands at our table listening to our conversation and continues talking to me even though I am ignoring him, and he is continuing telling me I am still being rude, although I am ignoring him for the sake of arguing with him. I state I am not talking to you I am speaking to her, and he keeps going on and on. At one point he tells me you should have gone to Mc Donald’s. This manager has no place in customer service, and I would not recommend anyone with less than common sense to eat here or patronize this establishment. The food isn’t that good either, mediocre at best for I am sure Taco Cabana has better food if your stomach can handle it. Go elsewhere if you want good customer service and a real margarita that doesn't taste like dish detergent and to be treated like a paying customer. The place also looks old, dated, dusty and dingy! I should have known better just from the atmosphere not to sit down and patronize this...
Read moreI felt discriminated and harassed. I was eating alone because my daughter went to the car to breastfeed my granddaughter. After few minutes she texted me to take their food to go and for me to eat and pay. My daughter left her food and my granddaughter’s untouched and her wallet on the table. I got a waitress attention and asked her to tell my waitress to put the plates to go. I heard my waitress telling her coworker to just give me some to go boxes as I was going to the bathroom. While I’m the bathroom another waitress came looking for me, and as I open the door the host asked me to pay my bill I told her that I do not have the check yet. The host told me that she had it and for me to pay, I asked her if I could go to the table to pick up my things first and she agreed. At the table my waitress was waiting for me and told me that my check was at the register I told her that I knew but that I need it to put my daughter and granddaughters food on the containers first and she said ok I’ll go get the check. I hurried up and told her that don’t worry I’m going now, she follow me and now I’m with 2 females next to me (my waitress and the host) I couldn’t take it anymore and started to cry and asked for the manager. A man came out of the kitchen and now there were 3, I polite asked if we can speak alone, we went to an empty table and when I told him what was going on he told me that In average 3 tables live daily without paying and that I should try to understand that they are just trying to avoid loosing money. I told him that I felt discriminated and harassed because I’m Mexica, there were few tables with white customers . I told him I bet you’ll don’t follow the white customers, he said yes we do. My daughter came to look for me and saw me crying and asked me to go outside with my granddaughter, I left crying to the car and...
Read moreAweful, the only good thing about our experience were the margaritas. My wife has a dairy allergy and normallly Mexican food is our easiest avenue to go out to eat but not here. We started our meal as normal with drinks and apps. Obviously, we informed ther server and she ordered her meal without cheese, sour cream or queso. When it came out the first time it had cheese on the inside, no biggie mistakes happen. She tried to take a dairy pill and "deal" with it but it was oozing with cheese to the point that my wife was uncomfortable eating it even taking an allergy pill. We waited, a while, for our server to check on us and we asked if her meal could be remade no cheese. He said of course and ran to the kitchen to get it corrected. The new meal came out quickly but once we cut into it, her food very obviously had cheese in it. We sat waiting for about 10 minutes while we watched our server attend to his other tables until I got up to get another server to go get him for us. Our server didnt come back but now other servers were "taking care" of us while our server watched out of the corner of his eye. They asked about the cheese in the dish, looked confused, and took it back to the kitchen. At this point I was angry, when they came back I told the new server I needed our bill and whether or not we had the bill we were leaving in the next few minutes. At this point, a manager came over... he looked confused and like he just woke up. He said " yall had the chimichanga? Well there wasnt any cheese in it so what do you want us to do?"
They are lucky I paid for the food we ate and left. We will never go back...
