Los Globos Bakery — Restaurant in Texas

I usually don’t post comments or reviews, but for this one I HAD to especially after getting off the phone with the owner “RANDY” who clearly is reluctant to understand our issues with the cake. Yes they followed my instructions and ideas, but they did not bake the core of the cake correctly or make it thick. Evidence is right on the photo below. Even if they mentioned the cake has to go straight to the party, it is STILL suppose to hold up. I bought cakes before from other places and NEVER had this problem when dealing with transferring or holding the cake. So clearly, the problem is the core. The cake totally collapsed!! The lady on the phone “Beatriz” was pretty nasty and RUDE “unprofessional AF” when trying to explain to her the issue. She kept over talking me. Walking into this place smells like heaven, the staff is extremely friendly as well as thorough with the details. It's not a big place but the flavor huge. Visually our cake was clean and elegant. The prices are fair and the sweet breads look delicious. They were able to help with a last minutes order and have a cake ready for us next day, less than 24 hours.
