I placed an order for delivery, which was marked “delivered” on the Marco’s app. However, no delivery was made to my residence. I was sitting directly by my front door, which has a glass panel, and no one knocked or approached my home.
When I called the store to report the issue, I was immediately met with rudeness and hostility by the female manager on duty, who refused to provide her name or the names of any other managers. She insisted the order had been delivered and told me to “just call tomorrow.”
At my request, she asked the driver to describe the house he claimed to have delivered to. His description did not match my residence at all, which confirmed that the order was delivered to the wrong location. Instead of acknowledging this, the manager continued to deny me the food I had paid for.
When I told her I wanted my pizza today, she sarcastically responded: “and I want a million dollars.” This was an unprofessional attempt to mock me and escalate the situation. When that failed, she repeatedly accused me of being “irate” and “angry,” though I remained calm and focused on resolving the problem.
She then stated that if I came to the store to retrieve the pizza I had paid for, she would call the police on me. I was forced to file a police report to document this incident.
This treatment is unacceptable. It is deeply concerning that: My food was never delivered, though the driver confirmed a description of the wrong house. The manager refused to provide her name or accountability. I was mocked with a sarcastic remark (“and I want a million dollars”). I was threatened with police involvement simply for requesting the food I purchased. Based on other customer reviews and the dismissive behavior shown toward me, I strongly suspect there are racial undertones to how this store treats certain customers.
As a paying customer, I expect professionalism, accountability, and honesty. Instead, I was treated with disrespect, mockery, and intimidation, and my order was...
Read moreI would like to share my recent experience at Marco’s on the Eastside of Houston, which has unfortunately not met my expectations. Over time, I've noticed a decline in the quality of service and food. Specifically, I’ve encountered unprofessional behavior from a supervisor, who I believe could improve her management skills. I even discussed my concerns with her boss, who indicated that efforts were being made to enhance management practices.
During my latest visit, I ordered a pizza that was unexpectedly thin—so much so that I had to double-check my receipt to ensure I hadn’t mistakenly ordered a thin crust. This significant reduction in thickness affected the balance of the pizza sauce and overall quality. I literally dreaded having to eat a slice. My family was highly disappointed. I refuse to endure this experience ever again.
Based on my experiences, I would suggest considering other options, such as Little Caesars, which offers better value for money. Given the amount I typically spend at Marco’s, I feel it’s no longer worth it. I would advise potential customers to explore...
Read moreHusband placed order online for pickup. I went in to pick it up. He did not pay online, he selected pay in store. I went in to pick it up. I had my card in hand as I'm sure you can see on camera, and told them I was picking it up and needed to pay. Lady at the front said no it was already paid for. I asked once again. She pushed box onto counter and walked off said I was good. I left. Went home ate and then the lady called my husband phone and wanted his credit card # over the phone. He was polite and told her he wasn't comfortable giving her it over the phone. We would go by in tomorrow. She demanded his card # again and he once again stated he wasn't going to give it over the phone. I could hear her loudly over the phone say it had to be done tonight or else... absolutely unbelievable. I would have gladly stopped by tomorrow as we live down the street but calling over and over again for a $20 pizza after YOU made the mistake is ridiculous. Will not be returning to this location. Hopefully there isn't a scam going...
