"Fine in a Pinch, Forgettable Overall!" 08-05-2025

I stopped in here during my lunch break during PD (Professional Development) week, my first week back at the high school where I work. The place was packed. Space was tight, with barely any elbow room between customers standing and seated, and the line to order was long.

While waiting, I scanned the menu for a salad I'd enjoy, but honestly, their salad options were pretty limited and not very appealing. I ended up going with the Southwest Cobb Salad. It was... okay. Edible enough to satisfy my hunger, but definitely nothing memorable. I don't always use dressing, but I tried theirs and it was decent, tasty enough, though I can't even remember which one it was. That kind of sums up the salad: forgettable.

The atmosphere during the lunch rush (11 AM-12 PM) was loud, busy, and a little overwhelming. Maybe it calms down later in the afternoon, but being in a packed shopping center right off Highway 290, traffic and parking are already hectic. Honestly, even walking to and from your car feels a little risky with how heavy the traffic flow is. Food Notes:

Southwest Cobb Salad - 3/5: Mediocre at best.

The black "crispy" tortilla strips weren't crunchy at all, actually stale. Big disappointment.

I've had much better salads elsewhere. If you're in the area and absolutely can't find another deli or salad spot, this place is fine in a pinch. You won't hate it, but you probably won't love it either. Given the number of surrounding restaurants that offer more variety (and better flavor), I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this one.

Final rating: 3/5 stars. Very middle of the road. Visit at...

Terrible ! Terrible! I have been going to this locations for years and never had issue til one evening i took my family there and boy was it terrible . So where do i start ? First of all we are waiting to place order the cashier didnt even greet us or anything? We ordered $50 in food to include the new french dip and sat down. I wasnt given a number for order and then had to request one, after waiting an unusually long time for the order finally it got here. It was COLD ! As i looked up at the count er pure caos customers standing around in confusion? The so called manager on duty was so rude with a demeanor like he didnt want to be there. My sister in law took our meals back up there to warm them up no apologies or nothing and thats not the jist of it. We got them back a little warmer , so i go up to geta to go box the so called manager a young black man practically throws it at me no response at all? I request a business card from the manager and while im talking to him he slouching on the counter like he could care less. In closing i regret going to this location and will take my business and money elsewhere as well spread the word on this night crew and manager who really shouldnt be there...

Ordered via doordash 2 days in a row. I had never had anything from here before but the sandwich I ordered the first was soso delicio I decided to order it again the next day.

Big. Mistake.

I'm just now recovering from some of the worst food poisoning I've ever had. I didn't know what the hell was going on at first. Running to the restroom literally every 10 minutes for DAYS. I hadn't eaten anything other than what I ordered those 2 days so I know it had to be from the Sandwich, the salad, or the macaroni I had. Doesn't matter really what caused it just that it came from this place. This wasn't just mild food poisoning, this was literally shaking uncontrollably from the chills and my hands and feet starting to lose feeling (which can apparently happen in bad cases of food poisoning, who knew?), on top of extreme gastral intensinal problems.

This went on for 4 days straight. I was absolutely miserable and bedridden. I was basically a slave to the bathroom most of that time. I'm only now starting to feel better but I still feel dizzy and lethargic from the whole ideal and it's day 5 now.

I usually never write reviews for places, especially negative ones but I will never EVER order anything...

The food at McAlister's Deli was undeniably good, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, providing a comfortable setting for a casual dining experience. However, I was slightly disappointed with the service during my visit. Despite the staff being friendly and accommodating, they were unable to honor the advertised half-off sandwich price offered by T-Mobile Tuesday. While this didn't ruin the overall experience, it was a letdown considering the promotion was a factor in choosing to dine there. Overall, McAlister's Deli is a decent option for a meal, but I hope they can improve their consistency in honoring promotional deals in the future.

This is an amazing restaurant for those who eat clean. They have really good sandwiches, and so many different varieties. The veggie baked potato is awesome. I ask for more of the melted cheese which is so good. I also had the veggie sandwich which was awesome. The mac and cheese was so-so, if it had maybe a pinch of herds or the melted cheese from the baked potato add in would be 🔊 awesome. My wife had the Caesar salad, and she said it was pretty good. All in all I have been here twice, and I really like it.
