So far, my experience has been the worst, and I would never recommend this store. There are many other stores with much better quality. They are not manufacturers—they import the furniture. If you try to claim the warranty, good luck; you’ll get stuck in a loophole. They offer extended warranties, but it’s a waste of money.
It took them one month to deliver a cushion under warranty, and now, after more than a month, the casing still hasn’t arrived. Every other day, something breaks. I spent around $4,000 on a dining table, and the backs of the chairs are already coming apart from use by a three-year-old.
I’m not a furniture specialist, but if I were, I would never buy from this place. The salesman caused a lot of trouble during the purchase. He kept assuring me that the payment would be within my budget, so we proceeded. He was clever and waited until 11 pm when we were tired to finalize the deal. When I said I could afford the payment but wanted to walk away, his expressions of anger and disappointment were at their peak.
They promised some complimentary items, but upon delivery, they said I had to pay for them because they were never complimentary. They submitted the wrong financing application, causing the bank to send letters to my previous address, even though my address was updated with USPS, and mail forwarding was in place. This mistake made my account delinquent and hurt my credit.
Stay away from this store—they are not exclusive or trustworthy. I read some negative reviews before, but I ignored them. Please don’t ignore mine. I can assure you, you will get better prices and quality elsewhere. You can see the seating cushions going out of shape within days. You can thank me later for saving your time and hard-earned money. Do not be me and get fooled by this company and their sales Rep Aimen. Update: I requested the casings in January 2025 and this August 2025 , I have received nothing from them. Joseph asked if I wanted to purchase insurance for incidents, and I declined. He then claimed that because I was financing, the insurance was mandatory. To sweeten the deal, he mentioned I’d receive a $500 credit if I didn’t use the insurance. This sounded suspicious, but I reluctantly agreed. He never explained how to file a claim, the enrollment process, or even mentioned that claims must be filed immediately after an incident.
Fast forward to when I needed to file a claim. Exclusive Furniture had failed to enroll me in the insurance policy they insisted I purchase. I had to contact them to get the policy activated—proof that I never received the terms and conditions, either in print or by email.
After owning my sofa for almost three years, my dog had an accident on it. I researched cleaning methods and purchased a product designed for sofas. Unfortunately, this caused rusting on the buttons. Months of trying to resolve the issue on my own led me to file a claim with Montage, the insurance company. What followed was a nightmare of back-and-forth correspondence for over 10 months. Every time I raised an issue, they found an excuse to deny the claim.
In frustration, I reached out to Joseph for help. He claimed he had informed me that all claims must be filed immediately after an incident—a detail I was never told. As someone who is educated and attentive, I can confidently say this was never communicated to me.
Now, I am stuck with a damaged piece of furniture, no resolution, and a sour taste in my mouth. Neither Joseph nor Exclusive Furniture stand by their customers. Their tactics feel predatory, and their lack of transparency is unacceptable.
