Horrible and incompetent shift manage Edwin. I placed my order online for delivery. When my order was delivered, 1 sandwich was missing. I promptly call the restaurant informed them of the mishap. Oh we will send one right out. 45 minustes later no sandwich. I called told the lady the situation and still no sandwich. She said she is going to find out what happened and puts me on hold. Long hold I get disconnected. I called back same statement she going to check, I was put on another long hold. I called again..this time I told her to not put me on hold longer than 2 mins. She comes back on the phone, said sandwich has not been made. Do I want to come back another day? I said the person is waiting for his food for an hour...we have been waiting and they haven't ate and you telling me to come back another day...that's crazy. I then told her to make the sandwich and when I get there I expect it to be made. I get to the shop and discovered the sandwich wasn't made yet...asked for manager. Edwin comes out. I said I ordered online, received my food an hour ago. Discovered sandwich missing called the store and no sandwich has been delivered. Edwin I am sorry we been busy its been crazy. .what do you want me to do? I said go ask the lady that answered my phone call. I asked her did you tell him what I wanted? Silence. Edwin I didnt get the message its been busy what do you want? Tell me what you want me to do. Ask I was talking, just walks off ok I am going to make sandwich. I asked other staff what is the name of another manage? They wouldn't give me. I asked for a number or card wouldn't give. I told the staff to ask Edwin to come back and talk to me. Edwin busy making sandwich. Then Edwin comes back with bag...I sorry you ordered online and you had to drive all the way out to get your order. He rolled his eyes. My sister calls me said that the samdwich was deleivered to the house. I asked Edwin how come when I called 3 times no one told me the sandwich was made and out for delievery. Edwin, I am sorry I didnt know. No one communicated that to me. He just blame his subordinates. I was standing to the side next to closed register. There were other staff at the other open register. People lined up at that register. Panera cashier now nowhere to be found. After he rolled his eyes at me, I told him he was rude. He says I dont mean to be rude. I said you are pretentious. I dont mean to be. Then one other customer....decide to say I am the rude one I am holding up the line. First of all, I wasnt in line I was talking to the manager to the side. Secondly, the manager is poorly qualified that his cashier aren't doing their jobs. That is also the reason why I am here. Manager failed to check for accuracy. Now, other customers hassling me. I am also a customer. So, Edwin saw a way out. Tells me that I am rude to him but now I am rude to customers and I need to leave. Wow, amazing. If my order was correct, I wouldn't have to come into the store. Edwin needs to be fired. There should be a negative rating. I will never spend anymore money at a Panera...
Read moreI love Panera, but this one is so mismanaged, it is awful - Panera should pull their franchise. Numerous times I have placed on-line orders for bagels, have the order accepted, gotten and email telling me the order is ready, only to receive a phone call after I am on my way to the store telling me "we had some big orders and we are out of your bagels". Amazing how they always get big orders on the days I want bagels. And when i say I can get them later if they bake me some, I am told they only bake at night so they can't bake fresh - I though this was supposed to be fresh food, but they are really selling day old baked goods, since they are all baked the night before, and if they don't guess right, too bad. Today I ordered bagels at 6:30 AM, and they don't open until 6, but they are out!! And when I complained to the manager - nothing, just I'm sorry, we had big orders - no offer of a free bagel or pastry for your inconvenience - truly horrible customer service - it is amazing they are still in business - I have to drive 25 minutes out of my way to get to a Panera that actually cares about...
Read moreSo disappointing.. we have eaten at Panera several times. It has been a while, but this was our first and last at this location. It started off with horrible counter service. I couldn't read the menu so I asked if they had a paper one, was looked at like I was speaking a different language.. so then I decided to simply ask questions about an item I wanted and again got a blank stare and acted as if I wasn't speaking. Finally managed to get a sandwich ordered, (still not have much conversation or interaction). We were both so confused on the sides.. twice was told something about apple chips or bread.. I specifically asked are they potatoe Chips? And no straight answer. Also, the soda machine was out of order and they only had specialty teas and lemonade. I was asked if I wanted a receipt and I said, yes please. And didn't get one until I asked again. The food was ugh, ok. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and the spicy chicken.. well, not so much, kinda like a chicken version of a mcrib. Just...
