Placed our order through the mobile app to pick up through drive thru today… got all the way home to find out the chicken was very much overcooked. I ate a leg first, then tried a thigh, and yet tried another leg… This was very disappointing. Popeyes was a planned visit. Not a last minute thought. We don’t eat fried chicken very often…so when we do it’s a treat. I decided that I would try to call the store, no answer out of 3 phone calls. Well we decided to go back, through traffic, more time out of our day…. We told them our concern. They was no apologies, sorry’s, nothing…. only feeling I got was they were “bothered”… and to top it off they replaced the chicken minus the 3 that were eaten… haha….Seriously??? Yes I get it. I ate the 3… however they were so subpar… dry and overcooked. Do you think the 3 extra pieces of chicken, which were small in size to begin with…was going to break this Popeyes? I spent $27…. I could have spent that at a million places between my home and this store…I should have listened to my boyfriend when he asked if I wanted to go to Chick-Fil-A… They would have been 100 times apologetic, if this would have happened…can’t say it ever does. Anyways… I got in contact with Popeyes online and told them my concern… and they are refunding me my entire amount.
To the store….you guys should really brush up on your people skills/customer service skills…. ESPECIALLY when a Google reviewer, who posts very often comes through… 99.9% of the time I give VERY positive reviews. It’s too bad you guys lost a customer, for forever. I’ll go completely the other way, at a totally different location for my next fried chicken fix.

Read moreThis was my first time going to this location since I moved to the area and it wasn't the best. I ordered the big family meal that gives you 20 pieces of chicken and 4 large sides with biscuits. They got my order all messed up. I asked for 50/50 mild and spicy chicken, and 2 large mashed potatoes and 2 large mac and cheese as my sides along with an extra large side of red beans and rice.
When I got home and unpacked everything I was disappointed to see 3 mac and cheese, 1 mashed potatoes and a box of fries. To add to the disappointment I only had 4 pieces of spicy chicken and the other 16 were mild. Not to mention the temperature of the chicken was barely warm at best. I don't know if they had run out of spicy chicken and the sides I ordered, or if they just got it all wrong. If they were out I would've hoped maybe they said something and I gladly would've waited.
It's rather irritating to pay that amount of money just to have everything completely messed up when you get home. It's not like paying $10 for a meal and they forgot that you asked for no pickles. This was a big 20 piece family meal that was messed up in almost every way possible. I was pleased in the time I was there waiting because the person who I assume was the manager on duty had a great attitude and was nice, but it was her that handed me the order when it was ready and I'd assume that she would check it before handing it to me but she obviously didn't.
I may try them again some time in the future and if I do I hope they make up for this visit because this was not...
Read moreThis restaurant advertised 2 Can dine $11.99. I proceed to drive thru to place my order and was told we no longer offer that by the drive thru cashier. I asked, " but it's showing in your sign". She then continues to state that it's no longer being offered. I asked again, then why is it on the sign. She said I don't know, you can pull up to the window and talk to my manager. I do as she stated. However, her manager I could see through the window on the phone. Mind you, good customer service would have been for someone to say 'just a moment or something'....nope, nada, zilch.
I then dial the guest service's number to be told that they would fix it, but nope, nada, zilch. The manager come and opens the drive through window while I'm on the phone with guest services. She says the DM has to come to the restaurant to fix it. Here's my exhaustion point, a DM (District Manager) has to fix a sign that is advertising an offering that isn't offered. Absolutely craziness. However, it is no wonder the Fast Food industry is still in existence given COVID, recession and just plain ole CUSTOMER SERVICE. It's all quite bad. I won't be spending any more of my 'very barely there' money at this establishment.
