Potbelly — Restaurant in Texas

Lindsey, the manager, made me never want to come back. She humiliated me when I was ordering my sandwich. In front of all the customers, She yelled across the counter and was frustrated with me because I asked questions about the menu. She literally threw my sandwich across the counter. I witnessed her yelling at her employees and they seemed fearful of her. When I said how displeased I was with the service, she denied it and yelled more! I have to say, potbelly food is very yum and I pass several sandwich shops to get here.....but not anymore. Lindsey ruined my day and my desire to ever want to return here again.

EDIT: changed back to 3 stars. After my review, I wrote to corporate. I immediately received a call from the General Manager and discussed my concerns. It was handled very professionally and I greatly appreciated...

So yummy! The shop smelled amazing right when I walked through the door. Very clean and special drinks were fully stocked. I had the avocado turkey sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup, and my boyfriend tried the prime rib steak. The cashier was really kind and made sure to check with us about what toppings we did and didn’t want on our sandwiches. Super glad he did, because I forgot to mention no cucumbers so that was a nice save. There was a mixup on one of our sandwiches, but when we brought up the error, they were quick to offer a new sandwich and fixed the issue immediately with no hesitation. The soup was so hot which I loved. I even had to let it sit with the lid open for about 5 minutes before I could eat it but that’s fine by me. I love love love this place and I can’t wait to come...

Kelsey, the General Manager, was AMAZING from start to finish for my recent catering order. He was dealing with a hot water heater issue when I initially called in to place my order (which he was unable to take then due to the issue), but because he was so transparent and friendly, I decided to hold off on placing my order elsewhere. I called back the next morning and luckily the issue was fixed and I was able to place our order for delivery later that day. Kelsey was awesome in making sure several of our items were made with specific dietary modifications and assuring my order would be delivered on time. The food was exactly as ordered and arrived right on time! I was so impressed by my experience with Kelsey and look forward to ordering from his location again...
