Service was pretty decent. Nice staff but the food was so underwhelming. Firstly, I went there on a lunch believing that it was a more upscale fast food restaurant so I was disappointed that I had to sit down and be waited on (obviously a tip must be added at that point). Then, I looked at the menu and there were NO SIDES present. No rice, no beans, no fries, nothing. Lol which I'm like.. okkk. Next, I look at prices and I was so turned off that I almost left the restaurant but decided to stay and fulfill what I set out to do. I ended up paying a total of $45 for two people. I ordered 5 street tacos (meaning they are similar to taco truck size tacos) for $15! My fiance ordered 4 street tacos for $13. He also ordered a lemonade which was pretty tasty. Those tacos did not come with anything. Nothing at all. Just street tacos. Lastly, the food lacked flavor and texture, right down to the taco fixings. The onions and cilantro had no kick or flavor. The salsas weren't horrible but definitely had no salt in them. The churros are really the reason for the 2 stars. They were pretty tasty. Kind of overcooked and crunchy but the...
Read moreFor those who don’t know, Taco Inn is a really good, old Mexican chain everywhere in Mexico. I couldn’t believe they opened a branch here ! They did not let me down. Best place for authentic delicious Mexican food. We have been there for breakfast, (weekends they open at 9 am) churros and also had to try the tacos. Everything is outstanding. Authentic Mexican food, not Tex mex. The sauces are perfection, spicy and just like back in Mexico. The enchiladas verdes were so good, and the churros I can’t even describe. After searching and searching for tasty Mexican food, and churros that are perfectly cook, just the right amount is sweetness like back home, finally found them. And service and ambience are top notch, all for great price . One of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had in...
Read moreOur first time trying this place. We had huevos rancheros, enchiladas verdes and the kids had a quesadilla and a taco de arrachera. Service was great, very attentive and quick. The dining room was very clean which is a welcoming touch. My enchiladas were huge, enough to share. We loved the huevos rancheros with a toasted bolillo, just like Mexico. The food is prepared in an authentic Mexico City style. Don’t go in expecting TexMex. This is Mexico City street food which is delicious. I’m glad we have it close by and I hope everyone gives this restaurant a try, you will get a taste of what it is to eat real Mexican street food. We still have lots more to try on the menu. Can’t...
