lovee smoothie king but in the last like three months this place has turned into a disaster lowkey. but its so obvious that this locations management team does not care about the business nor the employees. shoutout all the staff that work alone and get clobbered all day and tough it out probably for not enough hourly. ive had a handful of bad experiences here. but some arent worth mentioning. on a saturday mid day at 2pm i went in to order, and to ask about an order i placed earlier that week that when i went to pick up they said the blenders were down (which is fine just issue the refund ill eat something else), never got refunded. so i was asking how to go about that. the employee by himself told me they cant give out refunds and he didnt really know how he was inexperienced. that in itself is a problem if you are gonna leave an employee alone at least make sure they are trained to deal with anything that might come their way, not his fault. whatever i didnt get the refund who cares at this point. on top of that i asked him a million questions about why hes alone on a saturday and where his manager was at. there was no manager to speak to, the managers pop in when they feel like it and he had no idea the next time the manager would be in, and he was visibly stressed and had orders to make, and people standing behind me waiting to order, so i just let it go let the guy get back to work. and today same premise, i ordered online today, only one girl in there just getting shredded, and its just kinda crazy to me. i work in cs/food service and really bit my tongue w this one but honestly whoever runs this franchise or location needs to be re-evaluated. no minimum wage individuals should be that stressed all by themselves over some smoothies. get more people in your locations and you might start...
Read moreBiohazard concerns. There’s an employee that brings up to 4 children to work and they are behind the counter sometimes contaminating ingredients and supplies. There’s been a toddler there the last 2 days. Management notified and nothing was done. I can’t in good conscience not make the public aware. It’s a safety issue for the children having them at work but for the children to touch ingredients with hands that have been who-knows-where is disgusting. It’s flu season, Covid and stomach virus are highly contagious. My son worked here and walked out today because of having to work with a toddler in the way and disgusting conditions. The person with the child was actually promoted to management and the previous manager notified with pictures didn’t even acknowledge my son’s complaints but told the manager/mother that my son put in notice to quit yesterday. He hated to walk out but there’s no way he could stay and continue in those conditions shift after shift without his complaints ever being addressed. For a small child to be there a full shift days in a row is unacceptable. Outside of this he said it was a great place to work. But the safety issues need to be addressed ASAP. I have sympathy for people having childcare issues but to not even monitor them or keep them out of the way is completely irresponsible...

Necessary training: Customer service, Problem solving, accurately inputting orders. I ordered a pineapple surf smoothie, the lady entered in the wrong item and charged me for a meal replacement smoothie. Once I checked the receipt and notified her of her error, she said she would fix it and make me a new smoothie after she helped the next guest. She finished with the other guest, made that guest's smoothie, then made mine. She then stated my smoothie would be on the house due to her error and she would refund it back to my card. I asked about a receipt and she stated she would take care of it and I could leave. It's been over a week since then. I went in to inquire about my refund and the girl, simply says "Here is the $1 difference for charging you for the wrong smoothie." What happened to my refund?!
