Subway — Restaurant in Texas

I want to start by saying the young woman that helped me was very sweet and none of this was her fault. Subway is already known for having the least meat possible on their sandwiches. So we go for the convenience more than the actual quality of food. That being said we have greatly enjoyed the hot honey recently, including mere days prior to this. Go in today and I am told hot honey is off the menu. No more hot honey. Fine, give me vinaigrette which is STILL LISTED ON THE MENU. Nope no vinaigrette. Ordered two kids meals which on the menu comes with "sandwich, applesauce and a drink" only to be told applesauce is an additional $1.50 each and instead it comes with chips. FINE- go to get chips and the display is almost empty. There are 2 choices, neither of which the kids like. These are all minor things but they take an already mediocre experience and made it absolutely not worth the astronomical price for a single slice of meat. The part that makes me the most upset and the reason I am posting this review, is the manager. Who stood there and then walked away and let this poor girl be the bearer of bad news over and over and over again. He did nothing. And I have seen him there every time I go in- always checked out and doing nothing to improve a guests experience. I just left this Subway location a few minutes after 9pm. The posted closing time is 10pm. As soon as I walked in with my family I was told that there is NO BREAD! My only choice was flat bread. The employee on shift told me he requested permission to make more bread but was instructed NOT TO MAKE BREAD by his manager named Urial. He said that his manager told him that if he makes more bread and it doesn't sale then they have to throw it away. I am not sure how a pan of bread that probably cost a couple of dollars to make should be factored in to a decision that ultimately sacrifices quality customer service and the branding and reputation of the Subway franchise. Again out of roast beef and ham but looks like they went to kroger and bought the 1 lb rectangle ham. Always having issues with telling them what I want. Put vinegar on my sandwich which I did not want. Asked to make new sandwich and they just pulled the veggies off and the added more vinegar. Asked again to remake as the vinegar is soaked in the bread. Still tried to wrap it up and give it to me. Someone from the back and had to take care of it and I got a new sandwich.
