Today I ordered $63 worth of food. I was entertaining for lunch and in a pinch I decided on Wingstop. I placed an online order and headed into the store. The quoted time online is always a broken promise so I expected to sit and wait for my order. I was approached by Alyssa who was very customer focused and assured me they were working on my large order. I told her. No rush. She was fantastic.
My order was given to me by the district manager. He did not give his name. The interaction was damaging, intimating and shocked me. Never in my life have I been accused of stealing.
He started to read off my order and told me I was all set. I told him I was missing a cup for a combo. He handed me the cup. I asked if my 5 dips were in the bag. He stated they were. I grabbed my bag, made the one fountain drink and left the store. I walked to my car and had an overwhelming feeling to check my bag. The man who handed me my things appeared to be disorganized.
I counted my sauces and I had three black boxes. I figured they had to bunch all of the flavors together and not to order. I’m missing fries. Within 90 seconds of leaving the store I was walking back in to get the rest of my order.
I brought the food back in, excused my interruption to the DM and told him that I was missing fries. He stated that he “packed the bag himself” and “someone must of taken them out.”
I was taken aback considering I was by myself and I took a breath. I stated that he did not give me fries and offered for him to check my vehicle. I stated I would never steal or lie and just wanted my order. This repeated several times and was truly embarrassing because he was making a scene, raised his voice at me and then walked away. I didn’t raise my voice one time.
He asked an individual in the back if he was handed fries and the person replied no. Instead of the accusing, rude, horrible man apologizing he never returned to the counter. I was helped afterwards by another associate because he refused to acknowledge me and told the staff I took the fries out of the bag. I almost felt gaslit to believe I would have left them in the car.
Corporate needs to send him through serious sensitivity training. He needs extreme help on customer service. If you don’t like your job,...
Read moreI'm a Door Dasher. I went to pick up 2 orders one night for 2 customers. One order was ready when I got there. The other order took almost OVER an hour to get finished. OVER AN HOUR! I get it was busy the night in question, but that is beyond absurd. There were probably about 7-8 cooks making food in this tiny kitchen that night. The young cashier's favorite phrase to all the guests was "It will be ready in 5 minutes." She told me that more than a few times. She eventually did tell a group that had just walked in that the wait time was going to be over 45 minutes. A tall Hispanic young man was clearly just their to ride the clock & get a paycheck. He showed 0% Interest in doing anything that could be considered work. He even purposefully avoided making eye contact with the guest so that he act like he didn't know they were there. There were probably more than 10 guests standing by the front counter & door. No way you could miss them. And all he was doing was talking to the cooks and cashiers. Anyone resembling a manager, assistant manager, or team leader seemed to be M.I.A. that night. And I wasn't the only Door Dasher or delivery driver there that night. There was at least 4-5 others all waiting an insane amount of time to get their orders. And I not going to say they were being racist, but they seemed to favor those of their own persuasion over anyone else. Another Wingstop in Cypress keeps a logbook of when delivery drivers arrive so the manager can hold his staff accountable for if it takes too long for an order. This motivated his employees to have me out the door with correct order in hand within less than 5 minutes of arrival. Until the worthless franchisees start to care, hire employees who care, and utilize a similar log for online orders and delivery drivers, I don't ever recommend visiting this particular...
Read moreOn Wednesday, November 11, 2021 my husband and I decided to go out to eat at this wing stop location. Upon walking in we notice the hostess, named Jasmine, rolled her eyes as we walked up to the counter to order. It was clear she was not in a good mood as she didn’t greet us and neither was she at all friendly. We ordered our food and went to sit down. We watched as other came after us and received their orders before us. My husband notice that she placed a bag on the shelf where I guess to-go orders are placed to wait for someone to pick them up but we noticed my name was on the bag. Finally my husband gets up to ask her for our order and with attitude she asks, “what’s the name on the order?” After my husband tells her, Jasmine then grabs the bag with my name on it and places it at the doordash window. Not only was that rude but it was a clear indication she wanted us to know she was being rude. She could have handed my husband the bag but instead she made him walk to the window to pick it up. My husband and I are avid Wingstop fans and usually order through doordash but after this experience we will not be supporting this location any further. I recommend customer service training for your staff or at the very least they are held accountable. We did absolutely nothing to deserve this kind...
