This is by far the worst Zaxby's location I have been to. The service is awful and they really need to hire a new staff. This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've ordered here and every single experience is just like the last. Sadly, I don't have another location near me.
I ordered online and arrived roughly 15 minutes after my order was placed. When I arrive (and after two minutes of waiting for someone to actually approach me behind the counter) my ticket was still sitting on the counter and hadn't been started yet. Not that first time this has happened. The girl turns to the cook (younger guy with dreads) who is just jamming out on his headphones in the back scrolling on his phone and can't hear her. So another cook comes to the window and she tells him that I'm here for my order. So THEN he starts my order. The girl never even looks back at my to communicate anything at all. Not to say it would be a few minutes or anything. She just walks off. Not the first time this has happened.
After waiting about 7 minutes or so (by this time it had been about 25 minutes since I placed my online order) she grabs a bag and places it on the counter and walks away. This girl does NOT know how to use her words at all by the way. At this time there were about 4 other people also waiting on food that had come in and ordered. I have to wait a little bit until she comes out from the back and I ask if it was my order and she just nods. Again, unable to use her words. Not the first time this has happened. Once I get home I see my food was thrown together so sloppily. Excessive use of sauce on my sandwich. It was absolutely drenched in buffalo sauce. The bread as soggy as it could be because it was sitting in a puddle of sauce. Not the first time this has happened.
This location desperately needs a new staff with just even an ounce of urgency and professionalism. There's apparently never a manager on site which would explain a lot of this behavior. If there is a manager on site, then shame on them. I don't recommend anyone going to this location unless you really have to. I've been through this so many times and can honestly say that I'm just not returning anymore. I've gone again and again giving them the benefit of the doubt, but it's clearly the same experience every single time. This has only been during dinner hours, so I can't really speak about the day time staff. But for dinner,...
Read moreTHE STAFF NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!! Went to this location on Sunday 4/3 @ 6:10pm... the young lady that took my order at the drive thru had an attitude while taking my order, as if she didn't want to be there. When I finally got to the window (15 mins later) and received my food I noticed that I had not received a fork for my salad. I waited for her to return to the window and let her know that I needed a fork. She responded back "A FORK" with an attitude, as if I had asked for something that you don't normally get at a restaurant. She closed the window and proceeded to look around for a fork. When she returned to the window she told me that they were out of forks and that her manager had to go to the store to get more. So I asked her, how are you guys selling salads and don't have any forks. You should inform people of this before completing their order. She asked (with an attitude) if I wanted to speak with the manager, I told her yes. While waiting for her manager I noticed her going through a box of Great Value brand forks. When her manager arrived I told him I needed a fork for my salad, and he tells me he had to go to the store to get them. So I pointed to the box of Great Value forks and said, "what's wrong with the forks right there?". He turns to the drivethu worker and says "you didn't give her a fork yet" she brushes him off with an attitude. I told the manager that they need to hire people that want to be in customer service, people that want to be friendly, and do their job with a smile. He kindly said, yes ma'am I understand. As he closes the window, the drive-thru cashier is standing behind him and GIVES ME THE MIDDLE FINGER!!!!! I can't make this stuff up. Good thing for us all that the inside dining area...
Read moreI ordered a chicken salad meal with a coke to drink. At the drive up window they attempted to give me a cherry coke and I received a grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't realize I had received the wrong sandwich until I drove away. I returned the sandwich to the store. I told the girl at the counter it was the wrong sandwich. Every employee wanted to argue that I received the correct sandwich as it was entered by the young man at the drive thru as grilled chicken. The girl at the counter who was also the drive thru employee took the wrong sandwich and handed the container to the kitchen staff. I'm not sure what the health department is going to think of that. The guys in the kitchen proceeded to make the correct sandwich grinning and smirking the entire time. The young man with the drive thru headset on stood behind the front counter wall mumbling. I received the correct sandwich and the girl sarcastically offered me a cookie!? I told her I wasn't even sure if the sandwich was okay to eat with the behavior or the employees including her. She said "they're good cooks I'm sure it's fine. You can ask my manager." I took the sandwich with reassurance that I would not return. The employees all laughed and told me to have a good night. This was only the second time I had tried Zaxby's. My 78 year old mom happens to love the chicken salad. I stopped at a gas station and threw the sandwich in the trash. I didn't trust giving it to Mom. I work at a local medical facility that orders from here frequently. I personally will NEVER...
