We visited many breweries on this trip and this one was good.... but not as great as others. I really like the atmosphere.... the false storefront look dividing the brewery area from the pub is a cool idea. The service was good. We did the taster of beer but the only one that we really liked was the Stout. We were hungry and the menu looked good despite several cross outs, so we ordered a couple happy hour items. The potato poppers sounded good but they came a little under cooked and only 3 slices... pretty small portions. The nachos were also a little small too. We were still hungry after those so we ordered a Cuban sandwich - really good.... and really big. Ended up taking half to reheat later! Overall it was a good experience, but compared to other stops on our trip, not at the top. We would visit again next time and sample beers again.

Came for the beer, stayed for the food. The chicken bacon ranch pizza was perfectly balanced. The sauce was just right, with not so much that you can't taste all the other toppings. The soup of the day "poor man's stew" was anything but a poor man's meal, and tasted very high quality. The Special, smoked brisket with Cole slaw, Mac salad, and corn bread was phenomenal, with the glaze over the melt in your mouth meat was perfect and not overpowering, with a lovely flavor. Staff was friendly and the lighting in the room was a great vibe. Oh, and of course the drinks were good! Fairly priced.

The Bake Oven is fantastic! I love a dark lager and this one is fantastic technically a Schwartz Bier, nonetheless an excellent malty delicious brew! Dog friendly outside seating is much appreciated. Food is pretty darn good, everything was actually. Thai Chicken wrap, pizza, and a burger. Also, The bathroom was super clean, modern (tile floor and walls) and largely touch free. Bartender was super friendly. Love this place, would be stoked to be a mug clubber here, ceramic mugs!

We stopped here on our way home to central O, and we're really glad we did! We had three of the beers on tap, (a Helles, IPA and Stout) and they were all great examples of the styles. Helles had a great, clean, balanced flavor with a bit of malty sweetness, the IPA (The Dirty) had great hop flavor with a balancing bitterness, and the Stout had all that you'd expect in a well made dark beer, with a dry finish that made it a perfect pairing for dessert. The food menu was so varied that we had a hard time choosing from all the goodness, but ultimately decided on one of the Pizzas...and it was great! We didn't want to leave...but...

Stopped here after a harrowing snowy drive from Central Oregon. Nice pub behind all of the brewing gear. Cozy set up with bar, some tables, a couple couches and games. Beers came out fast and I liked the Cherry sour. The stout was decent as well. Now, we had ordered dinner and it started seeming like a long time had elapsed when the bartender can by and told us he forgot to put in our order. This could have gone bad, but he apologized, got the order in, immediately got us chips and salsa to snack and, then made it right when the bill came. Defiantly turned a "we'll never come here again" situation into a...
