This is a great place to bring a kid to enjoy a few hours of play time in a space that encourages movement, creativity, and imagination. You will not find any screens or digital toys here, and my child has never gotten bored in the hours spent playing.
Wonderworks is best suited for ages 1 to 8, I think, depending on how rambunctious your child may be. From the Dino slide, foot powered buggies, and giant foam building blocks, there are movement and motion activities.
So too a huge rocking horse, play camping set. And dress up for imagination and creativity. Dino fossil dig, train set, play shopping and the theater stage too! Arts and crafts, as well as the activities, rotate throughout the year, so there is usually something new to see or do each month, like making mothers day cards and shamrock crafts.

My daughter likes dressing up as an astronaut or doing crafts. My oldest son loves making new friends and doing puzzles. And my two year old loves having so many blocks to play with!!!

Its not as big as the Portland children's museum and is mostly just the kinda toys you'd find at anybody's house that has a bunch of toddlers, but that makes it perfect for somebody under the age of 5. It's not too overwhelming for the littles and they actually get to see everything, and you aren't traipsing around a huge place.
