Faro Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Thornapple Township

This place has gone so far downhill that the last 4 times I have ordered it has been disgusting! Done wasting my money! Dry hardly anything on it pizza and the pepperoni tasted disgusting! Manicotti that had nothing in it and was undercooked on the outside. Lasagne: Maria sauce that was so thick and cooked down that it tasted burned, meat had a strange taste. Bean burrito 2 times had very little sauce or cheese, tomato and lettuce were not fresh and soggy, onion on it was not chewable. Thought I would give them another try months later and still bad food! My last burrito the week before Easter had a ton of sauce that also was very very thick and had a terrible taste. The tortilla was strange like it had been soaked in water so mushy that it was disgusting. Looked like whole leaf lettuce was laid on top and not chopped up and the onions were not chewable again. Had to scrap off. I just don't understand how the owner can't do better! Quality of ingredients have went way down!!! Everyone in my family agrees! Have also had freezer burned lasagne in the past, burned subs and a ham and cheese sub that didn't even have 1 full pc of ham on it & lumpy cheese. How can 1 place have so much go wrong? It's like they just don't care and I have never known them to offer a refund! How can Faros even send out food that is so bad!! So disappointed each time! C'mon Lenny do better! Hate putting this on here but nothing gets done about all the bad food that comes...

My family and I go here all the time. Today we had dined in and I believe her name was Veronica who served us (she’s brunette) and she was awful. I’m still rating it 5 stars because the food is good and everything about this restaurant…besides her service is fantastic. She repeatedly acts like it’s an inconvenience to simply come to the table and take your order. Tonight we had no silverware, there was 5 of us, I asked for silverware… we got one set… had to ask again and mention for everyone… we are one set short. Food was again still great. After sitting 20 minutes waiting for the check my father went to go and pay in the takeout area. He mentioned that we had wanted to have refills, she came to the dining area and stated “your husband says you want drinks or something”. Previously she was the reason when we first started eating here we questioned ever going back but the food is good so we gave it a chance. Whoever the server is that is blonde has saved the experience ( she is a great waitress and so friendly) we have been lucky enough to have gotten her everytime until now and will be calling to see who is serving from here on out. 5 years ago this definitely was the best place in town now it's ran by a bunch of children let's just call it what it is. There is no supervision there is no management anymore I've been going here for 5 plus years since coming to this area I've gotten take out orders and dined in several times many times But this time is the last time. we ordered Manicotti with beef But what we received... bread of all things, on the bottom topped with cold cheese then a lasagna noodle then smothered in sauce With way too much sugar am I eating candy or eating dinner What is supposed to be my garlic bread was microwaved Rubber Like I said there's no management no one cares about the food you receive anymore no 1 says Hey wait a minute that's my name walking out the door With what you're serving people I definitely support small business and as you can see I don't give many bad reviews or reviews period But this not speaking up and just looking the other way stuff is just getting too much for me What they served us was pathetic so that's what I'll call their restaurant.
