Food is actually worth the price. I’ve eaten at many fancy steakhouses and the food is more about looks than quality, but not here. The food for our entire table was amazing and unique. The bread was the best bread I’ve had. The Amish chicken was the most evenly cooked chicken I’ve ever tasted. The drink in the picture is a signature cocktail unique to this restaurant and by far the best balanced and delicious drink I’ve ever had. Also, one thing that I thought was incredible was that chef actually came out and explained that one dish did not meet their high standards. So, they had it remade before bringing it out to us. Most restaurants would just lie to you about what took so long. So, I found that refreshing. The view and atmosphere is very open and vibrant. I would definitely come again next time I’m in town. Also, they specifically asked about allergies before we ordered and one of our party had allergies to onion and celery. So, they were very helpful finding safe meal choices or ways they could alter the meals for her.

This steakhouse is a 10/10, every aspect. Yesterday was our second time having dinner at Alto and we were once again so impressed. Marko was our server and he is such a great bartender/server. This place is a hidden gem on the 17th floor and so worth the visit. You feel like you’re at a fancy restaurant in the city when you’re there, but still very comfortable and everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend the crab cakes, bread, octopus, squid ink lumanche, lamb chops, Delmonico steak, and the lobster mac. For dessert, we enjoyed the pistachio crème brûlée and carrot cake. Thank you to everyone here for the first wonderful experience!!! Can’t wait to return.

What a beautiful restaurant!! The entrance is close to the parking garage and right before the casino area. The food was wonderful, and they had a great wine selection. Many signature drinks to choose from. They have a perfect view of Chicago enjoy. As for the food, the porkchop was a hit and that chocolate peanut butter tart...yum! The blue crab cake appetizer was also worth it! Service was polite from all staff. We took our time, but the server did say they would like to take the full order for coursing purposes. I understand because Im sure those chops take time and need a heads up. I will definitely be back soon with more of my friends.

Let me share my husband and I are foodies, traveling is our hobby so we eat every where. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us the elevator and that because Alto was not in green it was not open yet we sat inside the hotel lobby which is beautiful amazing smelling and she came for us to let us know it was open she showed us how to use the pad, and what way we take to leave when we are finished. The restaurant is beautiful, immaculate! Tons of staff ready to greet and wait on you. Jasmine was our server she stayed we should try the smoked burratta appetizer and it was delicious. We ordered our steaks I had the filet with bernaise my husband had the ribeye. Both cooked to perfection and we shared the creamed spinach which is the best creamed spinach I ever had! It’s huge we could not finish it! My husband had a Manhattan for a cocktail it was made perfect, for dessert we had coffee and cappuccino with the carrot cake cheesecake now that was yummy but should not be named carrot cake no carrots, raisins.nuts it was cheesecake with a cinnamon taste with caramel. It had two square of a dried cake on the side but that fell short. Jasmine did suggest the crème brulet should have listened to her but honestly it was na amazing meal, we will be back! It’s a special place do not...
