POOR Customer Service: My colleague called to place an order to be picked up and the manager told her "You're not done. I hate group orders. I have a line in front of me." 2.Once my colleague arrived the same guy told her "I was about to give your food away--you're late." Once my colleague returned to work we discovered that an ordered item was missing. The receipt reflected she'd paid for it. She called to report this and indicated that I'd arrive between 3:15 and 3:30 to pickup the item and provided my name. No apology was given to my colleague. I arrived at the restaurant at 3:22 p.m. and provided my name and the item I was picking up. STILL NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN. I was told "Okay, hold on a minute." One young man was talking and packing a bag of food while another waved a customer to get out of their car to come in to collect food. After 5 minutes, I asked "Is the dirty rice actually ready or are you preparing it?" The response was "It's right here" pointing to a to-go container on the counter and then placing it in a bag without a single 'sorry about that' or 'we apologize for the wait'.

Chicken tasted as if it were fried in the same oil used for chicken in 2019 Ribtips were not tender and had an okay taste
I find this establish to be an utter disgrace to the community and will NOT support it ever again! Oftentimes we are encouraged to support Black businesses but apparently the owners and employees of Uncle John's fail to realize that people desire good service and patronizing establishments who treat their customers with respect and gracious hospitality (I wasn't even greeted when I approached the cash register when I entered the restaurant) regardless of the owner's skin color. I️ gave the location in the city a pass, but finally decided I’d no longer disrespect myself by supporting them. Now here we are in the burbs and the same attitude toward customers exist, telling me it’s an organizational problem. Looking at the electronic menu display, I️ decided on the large tip/link combo (options were small$8.95, large $13.95, jumbo $16.95) and the lady at the counter asked “Jumbo or Regular?” I️ looked confusingly at the board and said, well what’s a regular because that isn’t an option. Her response - “jumbo or regular?” Damn. Is it me? after asking for the prices of these options she is presenting me, I️ was shocked to discover her options are more than what’s advertised on the menu.
