We went on Saturday 7/5 to eat wings late into the afternoon. The incompetence of some the employees working here was almost unbelievable. When we arrived there, a host said that it would be a 30-45 minute wait and we were like fine no worries.
So we sat and waited for nearly 50 minutes and got impatient and told the host if we had to wait any longer. She kept peering over the wall that separated the entrance and the dining area saying they were struggling to find room for us. I suppose they saw how annoyed we appeared and took us into the dining room and to our surprise there was many empty tables that it was practically not busy at all. We were absolutely stunned that we had to wait to be sat when we could’ve been sat right away once we arrived. Another girl who was trying to seat us kept trying to make room in a booth and we suggested if we could just push some tables together (mind you we were only a party of 6) but kept saying she couldn’t when clearly there was another party that had done so. When we asked why we couldn’t be seated in one other table that was dirty and they could simply clean off so that it could fit us all she said that they were taking turns? Whatever that means. We grew incredibly annoyed and I even said that we would leave and go to another location but persuaded us to stay so we were shoved into a booth.
The restaurant was terribly dirty, mountains of dirty plates along different tables. It was absolutely insanity what was going on here. The two girls in the front kept talking and talking as if they couldn’t help us anymore to get seated.
The server was nothing but kind and I wish I got her name, she was very sweet and I wish her the best. In all, it was a bad experience and truly awful for the guests we brought along because they had never been to BWW and I don’t think they’d return. Disappointed in...
Read moreWaited 7 min up front for online takeout order. Nobody there to help. Walked up to the bar where the bartender (Tony) had 0 guests and was looking/texting on his phone the entire time. When I asked about the takeout order he briefly looked up and said "someone will be up there shortly" and just got right back on his phone as if I bothered him. Instead of walking 20 steps and handing me the order that was sitting there getting cold, or finding an employee who could give me the order, he was more concerned about what he was doing on his phone.
I walked back up to the front and stood for another 5 minutes. When I saw a kitchen employee in the back I had to speak loudly to get their attention and asked how I could get my takeout order. They handed it to me. What a joke! Why couldn't the bartender do this since they had nothing else to do? Poor work ethic AND oversight if there was a manager on duty allowing him to prioritize being on the phone over paying guests.
When you walk up to the restaurant the garbage can is overflowing and there is trash and food littered all over the entryway. I guess the bartender is getting paid to be on his phone instead of helping give takeout orders or keeping the restaurant presentable 🤷
This took place at 11:45am and there were no more than 15 people (all sitting at tables) in there. While I was waiting, 4 other guests walked in and were also waiting to be helped. They ended up sitting in the lobby because nobody wanted to help. The bartender didn't want to get off his phone to see what any of them needed or to seat them. Poor...
Read moreToday I decided to order a salad online from BBW since it is literally right across the street from my job and I left my lunch at home. Once back at work and at my desk I realized the salad was not as fresh as it should have been. I did not have time to take it back as my lunch break was over. I ate what I could and threw it away. I decided to call the restaurant so that they would be aware of it. Upon calling I was asked by a manager what the issue was and was put on hold while she checked the produce line. She comes back to the phone saying everything looked fine and she couldn't understand how my salad was not fresh. The cucumbers were brown and the leaves were wilted. She then asked what I would like for her to do. I then asked her what does she do when these type of things happen. She stated that usually the food was checked before leaving the restaurant. I don't know if that is something they do with the customers or if she was insinuating that I did not check it myself before leaving. Again I was on my lunch break and I really didn't think that I needed to check it. She suggested giving me 25% off of my next order but I declined and told her that I would not be visiting this location again. Her response was "Okay!" I have never in my life seen or experience a manager basically saying its the customers fault that something was wrong with their food. I could have taken it back but my lunch hour was over and it would have needed to wait until i get off 3 hours later. I will never visit this location again because I don't feel like she tried to...
