I feel like I need to balance some of these reviews on both ends of the spectrum. I have been coming here five days a week for the past 3 1/2 years, sometimes through the drive thru, sometimes through the lobby. There is a lot of staff turnover here, and each time that a lot of new people are hired, it takes a little while to weed out the ones who cannot cut it and develop the ones who can. During these periods, the service suffers, although they usually have a capable veteran making drinks because otherwise, it would completely bog down. After a few weeks, the new crew will settle in, and service will be fine for a few months until a bunch of them leave again.
Bear in mind, this store is BUSY! Even with their best employees (and their best ones are very good--this is not the only Starbucks that I frequent, so I have another store to balance this crew against), there will be a wait. When it is slow, and they are not training new people, there is no real wait. The drive thru seems slower than going inside, and I have no idea why, but when I finally get to the window, my drink is always ready for me, so it must be someone ahead of me each time ordering a bunch of complicated beverages or having them remake them or something.
In the 3 1/2 years I've been coming here, they have screwed my order up twice, and they promptly and apologetically fixed it when I pointed it out. I think that's pretty good accuracy considering the number of opportunities they've had to screw it up and the insane volume of customers that this store handles. Again, it is a BUSY store. The drinks take a few moments to prepare even when there is no one else there, so a brief wait should be expected.
I go in at lunch time when they're slammed, and at closing time when they are scrambling to finish their side-work and get out of there, two times that one might expect poor service, yet they almost always take good care of me. For those who frequent this store and yet complain, I wonder if you treat them kindly and tip them? That has worked...
Read moreMy daughter and I went in to get drinks and while waiting for drinks we let barista LEVI know that one of the drinks she was doing was supposed to be light ice. She then rudely replied that is our light ice. When finishing up the next drink I asked her to add a little extra Carmel on top she refused and said with an attitude that what she added was the extra carmel. Then proceeded to be more rude walking away yelling at myself and my daughter. So I finally started defending myself and when doing so Aileen who I believe to be the manager said I couldn’t talk to her barista that way. I told her alls I was asking for a little extra Carmel so she then proceeded to grab another cup and lined the Cup extremely like five times around if not more to where all you could see was caramel and about a good half inch thick of caramel at the bottom of the cup. I proceeded to tell her that that’s not what I wanted. All I wanted was caramel put on top so when I refused that cup and asked her just to add the caramel to the other cup she said she did and then told me I needed to leave the store. They also did not make my daughter’s drink right she asked for eight pumps extra of classic and eight pumps extra of vanilla and they didn’t even do that in her drink. This Starbucks is very rude and unacceptable of the way these kids get away with treating their customers. I will never return to the Starbucks again. Read moreHad to give one star to give a review, they deserve none. for starters I pulled off into the drive-thru and my trip odometer said one mile to empty a mind you I can drive 20-30 miles on empty. Ordered 1 drink with 2 cars ahead of me, it took them OVER 30 MINUTES to make those 2 cars drinks, and just as I was to pull up the drive thru hill, my car actually ran out of gas, IN THE DRIVE-THRU, feet from the window. When I asked "what took so long?" The baristas reply was "I don't know, the drinks?" Like he was asking ME a question. I had to employ the help of other Starbucks customers to push my car up the huge hill in the drive in and around the back. I will NEVER go to this location again as they also messed up my coffee order the week before. I ordered a venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew with extra cream and I received a grande iced coffee something with whipped cream on top, not the venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew I ordered, and that time when I told him this isn't what I ordered all they did was pour it into another cup and add some more coffee that wasn't even cold brew, so the second time I received a venti iced coffee something with whipped cream on top, and I swear never had vanilla in it.
