Handel's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

I have had a couple of flavors from here and by far strawberry cheesecake (not pictured) is my favorite. I love cheesecake and the bites in it are so delicious as well as the strawberry flavor. Black raspberry chunk is my second favorite also not pictured. The flavor of the raspberry is so tasty and the chunks of dark chocolate pairs well. The dark chocolate is super rich so keep that in mind. What is pictured would be the raspberry cheesecake in the cup. Which of course I love the chunks of cheesecake, but the overall flavor was lacking. Banana crème pie was also very delicious which is not pictured that would be my third favorited. The banana doesn’t taste artificial. The black cherry is pictured on the cone next to the raspberry cheesecake. The flavor is there it’s not overpowering and it has chunks of cherry. Most recently I had brownie dough pictured by itself (had taken a bite already before taking the picture). If you like chocolate but not too much I feel like this is perfect. It’s a mixture of Chocolate and vanilla with delicious chunks of cookie dough and brownies. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is always almost a line, but it does move fast. Handel's ice cream is definitely of excellent quality and tastes better than most, but what's with the "tip-pad" shoved in your face, which offers gratuities at 20% and higher for the people behind the counter? They're not even the people who scoop out and deliver it to you at the window. All when you're face-to-face with the counter person staring at you? Isn't the price of Handel's ice cream expensive enough without being pressured into giving a ridiculous tip on top of your already exorbitant price?
