Poor customer service from Shift manager Dan and GM Shawn. I placed an order through Uber it’s for a full slab of Baby back ribs with no sauce (reiterated my order in the special instructions as I did on my previous order...As instructed by Chuck) and received a half slab w/ hot bbq sauce.
When I called in about my order I was told by Dan, who continuously over talked me, that I ordered a pound instead of a slab and that they don’t sell ribs w/out sauce. When I tried to explain that I’ve placed a previous order the same way and received it just the way I ordered it he stated that this was not true, he wouldn’t address the incorrect sauce and repeatedly over talked me. When I asked to speak with the GM he told me that he wouldn’t be in until tomorrow and hung up on me. When I called back Shawn, the GM, got on the phone and told me that I got what I selected and that I should’ve order the full slab of Baby back ribs. I tried explaining that there’s not an option on the Uber eats app for the slab only, this is why I was instructed to submit my order the way I did the previous time. He wouldn’t listen. When I tried to address my request for no sauce and received hot bbq sauce he told me that Buster’s doesn’t prepare sauceless ribs. Which is not true because I ordered it the last time and received it as I ordered it.
If this is the way that Buster’s treats loyal customers then I don’t want any parts of it. Not only have a placed orders through Uber eats I’ve also dined in and I’ve never had a problem getting my order the way that I wanted...
Read moreAlways been a fan of Buster's ever since they started doing picnic catering for the company I worked for years ago (Oh YA, they do catering). Today was my first visit to the actual location and I have to say "amazing" food still and better yet. A great family and friends restaurant to standards that match the excellent menu selection. The only reason I only gave 4 of 5 on atmosphere is though the "intoxicatingly"delicious aroma when you walk in is very very strong. I do love the smell of good food when going into restaurant. The only negative about the aroma here is not being able to get away from that strong bbq smell, is that it can have a tendency to sorta drown out all other smells and taste in a way that I believe would get old actually. Other than that very very minor detail. Everything was spot on. The floor lead there was impressive in handling his floor and keeping a tight ship, while still delivering stellar service without skipping a beat. I HIGHLY recommend anyone with that "MEAT" hankering stop in and try this amazing establishment out and see for yourself. I promise you that you will fall in...
Read moreBeing a traveling nurse, a gazillion miles from my home in the lone star state, I was overjoyed to see both the words Texas and BBQ in Oregon. I know that we set the bar high as far as BBQ goes so I went in with a very open mind. Absolutely nothing about this place even remotely resembles Texas. The BBQ sauce is thinner and a little on the vinegary side. While many prefer this style ... it just isn't "Texas." The meat was pricey and rather dry. By meat I am referring to the ribs, brisket and chicken. The sausage seemed a bit more "Eckrich farm" or "Johnsonville" style than the "hot links" you see back home. I know this may seem trite especially considering this is a restaurant review but what bothered me most was how rude the guy at the register was. I can't believe they have the audacity to put Texas on the sign and then completely chuck good ol southern hospitality out the window. I was sorely disappointed. While this may technically be classified as BBQ there is absolutely nothing...
