Speakeasy Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tigard

The breakfast food was good. I had an $8 basic breakfast. I gave this business 4 stars only because the service staff was excellent. The inside and outside decor need renovating, paint, furnature, window treatments and more. The air conditioning vents, windows and table bases were dirty. The upholstery was stained and torn in places. The table was sticky. The salt and pepper shackers stuck to the table. The TV monitor stand were empty. Tacky hand writen signs were posted on the doors. The place smelled of industrial cleaner rather than good restaurant food oders. I did not check out the bathrooms for fear of what I may find. The place felt unloved and joyless. Definitely more a evening sports bar than a...

All-in-all, a serviceable watering hole. The bartenders are awesome, drinks are incredibly affordable, the food is ok (it's bar food, but not bad at all), and has a great dive bar aesthetic; however, the owner made a head scratching decision to get rid of the pool tables a couple of years back. Now you can either sit around watching TV, gamble on the slot machines (if you're into that kind of thing), or get involved with some kind of betting on virtual horse racing. It's a real shame, this place has so much potential if they had pool tables or darts! If you're passing through, not a bad stop for a quick bite and a drink, but there are better spots for locals looking to have fun on a Friday night...

Driving from California,needed fuel, missed the turn,went over freeway, turned around, stopped at a gas station, ready to get going again, saw dive bar, it said open on the sign, went in, everybody watching sports, didnt realize it was sunday cause driving 3 days, nice girl", approaches us as we just sat ourselves cause we were just tired, asks if we'd like something, mentioned a special, brought my beer quickly as i traded driving with my friend, "A very large Stella Draft🍺, had wings,tipped her well,AND THEN ...ON THE ROAD AGAIN...Home. Perfect place, clean, better than good food,atmosphere was easy, all types were in there. That's the mark of a good place.....
