Do not be fooled into thinking Munch is just a quirky little sandwich shop. In fact, Munch is the Platonic ideal of a sandwich shop manifest from the ether into corporeal form. It is the spark of joy that lights up the synapses when you think about a sandwich shop. It is what all sandwich chains strive to be but will never attain because they've missed the point to chase profits. Essentially, what I'm trying to say is: Munch is rad as hell.
The variety of sandwiches, wraps, and salads on offer is great. Everything I've ever had there has entered my mental hall of fame of best sandwiches. If you're ever struck with indecision they have a picking wheel you can spin which can nudge your persnickety uncertainty towards a new and unexpected favorite. John and Holly are super pleasant and down-to-earth people who just get it, and every time I've eaten there, all of the patrons are equally chuffed, chipper, and cheery because they understand how lucky they are to live close enough to this place.

Read moreI eat at Munch every. single. day. You must be wondering, "are you kidding?" No, no I am not. Do yourself a favor and give Munch a try. Seriously, whatever meal you are in the mood for, go. In the mornings you can get something basic like the Blake'N'Eggs, or something a little more exotic like the Bridge City Breakfast. Lunch time? Twisted Turkey. Kodiak Bear. Greekin Out. Really just cover your eyes, throw a dart, and you'll be happy. On top of that, there is no better restaurant staff in the Portland Area than Munch. John and Holly's passion for what they do is very apparent from their bright shining attitudes to the delicious, love-filled meals that they create.
WARNING - if you don't like delicious sandwiches, DON'T GO HERE. You will HATE it. Seriously, this is a top notch sandwich shop so don't go here expecting anything but mouthwatering, one-of-a-kind creations in between two...
Read moreI got a breakfast sandwich with pepperoncinis and an iced latte with their brown sugar cinnamon syrup. The sando was really good, and filling for brunch. It kind of felt like something I could make at home, but also it was pretty affordable and their location is convenient. So for myself, it would be good in a pinch, but not something I would seek out regularly or as a treat. The latte was ok, not sure that the syrup is my favorite. With the sando, one add on, a flavored latte, and a tip it came out to $17 or so.
Ordering online was super simple and straightforward for a quick pickup.
The service was wonderful. The owners are very nice and attentive. The space is beautiful with lots of seating. Definitely a good spot if you just need some food right now and don't want to break the bank, and it's nice that it's more of a mom n' pop shop rather...
