We purchased a Riverside home three years ago and have been very pleased. The home has a really beautiful interior and exterior aesthetic, and the floor plan is so livable and spacious. Our Riverside home’s quality is so much better than friends’ homes by other builders. Our friends say working with those other builders has been a nightmare, but our experience with Riverside has been really great. Before closing on the purchase, we had a series of walk-throughs with Riverside to ensure any lingering post-construction issues were addressed. Once we took ownership, we’ve found that the online warranty claim process is pretty efficient, of course after you figure out what section to put the claim under! Once you submit the claim, Riverside is super responsive and coordinated with subcontractors right away. All of Riverside’s subcontractors are high quality, professional, thorough, prompt and quick. Check all of your appliances before closing:

Our microwave oven has been making rattling noises since we moved in. I brought up this issue to the sales agent and she ensured us not to worry and Riverside will take care of it. After settling in, I put in a ticket with the warranty department. They replied and told us we have to contact Bosch ourselves. This was disappointing after purchasing a brand new almost $900K home and then told later there is no support of any kind for the appliances. I’m about three weeks in and still getting nowhere with Bosch. So for future Riverside buyers, make sure everything works before you close...

They can’t give you the original colors, flooring, tile, etc specs for a home if you are not the original buyer. Home is 3 years old and they have ALL of the information on file! They say it’s for liability reasons assuming the first owner changed anything. Well they didn’t and I wrote in writing that I waive any and all of their responsibility and liability. I wish they would give me a new home packet and I can figure out the rest. I want to do fixes and touchups and they are sitting on all the exact matching material info that I am asking for.
