I love Wendy's food, I really really do, but my experience there the other day was extremely bizarre.
All we ordered was two double cheeseburgers and a plain hamburger. There is a burger with no cheese on the menu, but instead of charging me for the hamburger item and making it plain? They were extremely confused and charged me for a cheeseburger with no cheese. It wasn't rocker science, it didn't require any real thought. Just charge for the general burger that has no cheese on it normally and make it plain. There was no need for the two minutes of confusion that followed.
Following this, we waited probably ten minutes after being asked to pull forward while no less than five cars pulled away because they had to make all of our sandwiches fresh, yet our food came out lukewarm?

Read moreUnfortunately staffing is unfriendly. They messed up our entire order and when it was brought to their attention the woman was rude. She tried to argue about it even though the receipt said otherwise. It was eventually settled and we got things squared away but there was no need for staff to be rude and snappy about being called out for messing up the order. I'll add most of the tables are broken, the ice is NEVER filled anytime I've come here and the floors/tables are always dirty no one coming to clean after someone leaves. Their excuse is "we're too busy" when there's nearly no one in the restaurant or drive throu. Unacceptable, you want a better job then treat the one you have with diggity and treat customers with some respect. I will gladly not be returning to this...
Read moreNew employee kept making mistakes (which is totally understandable when new) but was really weird when we approached to get our meals fixed. We might have visited on an off day or something. For instance, the lobby soda machine was malfunctioning so we asked for the employee to grab us a drink from the drive thru. He did this for us but asked so many unnecessary questions and made it kind of an uncomfortable situation. He managed to get us the wrong drink but we werent comfortable talking further so we dealt with it. The manager was kind and attentive. He jumped in to help when he saw the new guy struggling or making mistakes.
