I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Yoshi in Toledo, OH, and I must say that it was an absolutely exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. Not only were the people at Sushi Yoshi amazing, but the food they served was truly outstanding.
One of the standout aspects of Sushi Yoshi is the quality of their food. The sushi and other Japanese dishes they offer are incredibly delicious. The ingredients were fresh, and each dish was expertly prepared. Whether it was the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi or the perfectly rolled sushi, every bite was a delightful explosion of flavors. Sushi Yoshi definitely knows how to create an unforgettable culinary experience.
Moreover, the cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable. The dining area, kitchen, and restrooms were all spotlessly clean, which added to the overall pleasant ambiance. It was evident that Sushi Yoshi takes great pride in maintaining a hygienic environment for their customers. This attention to cleanliness further enhanced my dining experience and instilled a sense of confidence in the establishment.

Read moreI’ve come here a couple times and every time it’s an amazing experience. This is the only sushi place I’ve found that offers eel. The quality of their fried rice is on a whole other level than any restaurant I’ve seen. The amazing customer service is just the cherry on top. This is my go-to recommendation for sushi in the Toledo area. Edit: I have become every so lucky to be working a 5 minute walk from this store. I come here a lot more frequently, the owners know me by name and have met my parents. The owner always gives me extra guava candy cause I mentioned I love it one time. The wait times can be “a little long” because once you order they make your roll from scratch, it’s so fresh you can taste the difference if you wait to eat till you get home. 1 roll is about $15 (I personally recommend the Yoshi Maki with xtra eel sauce on the side) and a perfect lunch for working. I still recommend it to everyone visiting from out of town. Edit #2: surprisingly I still have not tried their whole menu despite ordering almost weekly for the past year. Me and my mom love coming here to try new rolls. The owners were giving out roses near Mother’s Day! And naturally i still got an extra guava candy. They definitely make you feel loved at...
Read moreFirst time we went my wife and I both got the sushi deluxe plus I got a couple flying fish roe and a couple mackerel. All the food was really good. The service was great. We went back about a week later. Opted to just get the sushi for two. Drinks came quickly. Soup and salad came quickly. The miso soup is really good by the way. The sushi though took a long time. Way to long in my opinion. The woman mentioned that appetizers come fast. Kitchen entrees come fast. But said something about online orders get made first and blah blah blah. Well, where I take issue is some people came in after us. Has their appetizers. Their soup and salad, and their kitchen entrees. Then they got their sushi order......while we're still waiting for ours. When I called them out on this then it became well we got a big order. Well we ate, paid our full bill. Didn't get a discount. They didn't get a tip. And how long did it get for us to get our sushi? An hour and 15 minutes. Go for the food. It's great. Service though? We'll try somewhere...
