Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Tomball

Ordered online and made it to the store 10 minutes past pick up time. When I got to the store, the door had a sign saying drive thru only but there were customers inside. (Side note, this location does this often and after today's visit I'm sure it is due to lack of staffing). A lady, apparently employee Alicia or something like that, walked up and trying to save her a minute from going inside, I told her what the sign said. She then pulls out her keys and with an attitude tells me to "go through the drive through then". Bear in mind the instructions on my online order say to go inside and grab my food from where the online orders are and there are customers inside. Alicia then unlocked the door and went inside. Other patrons came outside, also confused, saying Alicia was arguing with other staff about opening the lobby.

I walked in and of course there is no online order section like the website claimed. They were at least 6 orders behind so I ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes; a total of 25-30 minutes PAST the time it was supposed to be ready. If not for the fact that I had already paid, I would've just cancelled the order and left. The cashier Devin was friendly though and if not for him going into the kitchen to get my order it will probably still be sitting there.

This location used to be good but had really fallen off over the past year or so. And to that staff member Alicia with the terrible attitude, you may need to find another line of work if manners are too hard for you. There are way too many restaurants in this area to deal with slow service AND garbage attitudes. I won't go back and recommend others find another...

STORE CLOSES WAY EARLY! I’ve been to this location three times in the last two weeks and every time the location is closed 2 hours early. There is a sign on the door that says “lobby closed -drive thru open” so I went to the drive thru as directed and me there were other vehicles waiting. We waited for quite some time with no response and drove up to the drive thru window…still not an employee in sight so I went to the lobby door and knocked. Sandra(employee said that was her name)made eye contact and ignored me so I continued to knock until she opened the lobby door and I confirmed the store hrs with her to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. She told me that they have “been closing the store early because they have to clean the restaurant”. And then asked me “well what do you want from me?” Other customers were in the parking lot and said they’ve had the same problem with this location. It’s never open at the posted times. One time I went by and two employees were there, sitting in the lobby eating but wouldn’t answer the drive-thru and the lobby was closed….must have been closed early for “cleaning” again. 😂They had a couple of men in there as well that didn’t appear to be customers. I stopped by today to speak to the store manager but no one could get ahold of. This is just ridiculous. I am done dining here but thought I should share if you intent on ordering anytime after 7,...

One thing about this restaurant is I have come to appreciate that I actually like their food. They're portions are fairly decent I would definitely buy the medium just so you can get the meat to bread ratio. All that being said of the times that I've been here while my orders have always been right and my service has been professional and courteous, I suspect that staffing might be low given the amount of time it takes for them to prepare the orders. I realize each order is made from scratch but do be prepared to wait a while if he goes through the drive-thru for your order. Even if no one is in front of you it could take 5 minutes or so for them to get your order to you at least it did for my two sandwiches and two bags of chips. So it's up to you if you think the food freshness quality is worth the extra wait time, just be prepared if you have a short break some of your time will be lost to wait times. Yes, I know this sounds picky but if you've only got that 1hr lunch or like me have ice cream in the car cause your didn't think about it...those extra...
