Please Read: After reading all the reviews my friend and I decided to try out this "amazing" sushi place that everyone was raving about. As soon as we arrived, I noticed that the place was pretty empty, with the exception of one table that was just finishing up. The prices were amazing and the varieties of sushi made this place seem promising. However, before my food arrived I decided to use the restroom...big mistake. See, there is only one bathroom in this restaurant. Which means that the employees use it as well. Needless to say, the bathroom was filthy and reeked of urine. When I noticed the urine on the floor, I walked out of the bathroom. I sat back down at my table to try and convince my friend to leave, and that's when I noticed the little girl (I assume she was the owner's child) coughing and sneezing right by the sushi bar. She had her hands in the sushi and she eventually made her way to an empty table, where she sipped on a previous customer's drink. I wanted to run out of there, and within seconds our food came. The salmon smelled awful and the shrimp tempura was Disgusting, the shrimp was heavily breaded and it tasted like it was frozen. My friend's sushi was poorly put together, and it tasted bland. When the check came we explained that the sushi didn't taste right, the lady started getting loud and kept saying that it was good and we were wrong. After arguing with her for a few minutes, we were able to have that roll removed from our bill. they had the audacity to add a $7 tip on our bill.. I will never EVER come back to this...
Read moreThis place use to be GREAT. I liked them better when they were located in the shopping plaza near KMART. It was like they had their sh** more together. Now the building they are in is tiny compared to the other place, there is only room for about 5 tables. Go there in the winter and it's freezing in there. The owners there are nice but the kids they have answering the phone, running register and delivering are jerks. Very unfriendly and every time my boyfriend picks up our order he asks the one kid, "did you put chopsticks in the bag?" And the kid always says yes, but they're never in there. If you place an order on the phone or online it is never done when they say it will be. I never strayed from their sushi and their sushi is still good but in the past two weeks I decided to be bold and try their Korean BBQ, which was awful as well as their lo mein. The Korean BBQ was 95% pork fat, which was disgusting. And to flavor it the meat was drenched in hot sauce, BIG DEAL. The lo mein noodles were way overcooked and greasy. Read moreI'd give it 0 if I could. I used to be a loyal customer ordering at work with coworkers or for my family. Moved across town and became closer for delivery. I've been waiting for delivery over 1 hour and I called. I was told I'd be 1st delivery--it hadnt left yet. I could've picked it up at that point. Another 30 minutes goes by and they tell me they're out of something. How did they not know this if I was next to be out for delivery. At this point there was no way Id get my dinner within 2 hrs after I ordered. I told them I needed a refund to forget the order. They said they were too busy maybe they'd get to refund it but not tonight. So I'm suppose to guess and call more for when they're slower if they remember to refund? What an insult! I ordered from competition--It'll be here in 15 minutes. Still sooner than my order from Wangs...
