I. AM. DISGUSTED.
Can I give ZERO stars? I feel like I am not able to express how bad this place is.
I walked into the store and three associates - a manager included - were huddled around the counter having a powwow with folks who definitely were not paying customers. After waiting at the register to be acknowledged I was forced to ask "Are any if you folks working today?" The young woman who responded told me that she "couldn't ring me up on the register," and proceeded to tell a young man, in a winter jacket, on the customer-side of the counter, to come around and take my order. The young man told this young woman, "I'm off the clock." The young woman than proceeded to begin to take my order, gave it a second thought, and then told her manager, Shawn/Sean (I dont know which because he, of all the employees present, was the only not wearing a nametag) to ring me in.
After I ate my food I stayed to use the WiFi.
While I was sitting and reading I overheard a young woman, Taysha Rivera, swearing loudly and profoanely for a full minute. I left my table and approched the counter; I asked if she thought it was appropriate to use such foul langauge. She proceeded to offer me her most insincere apology, remarking how awful her day has been, and told me I can go ahead and "write (her) up." I explained that it wasn't my intention to see her receive disciplinary action, and reminded her that she works in a family-friendly restaurant. She told me there were no families - no children - in the store at the moment, as if that was some sort of acceptable excuse. I asked her manager - who was standing beside her and who had thus far stayed silent - if he had anything to say. Apparently he didn't, because he ignored me. This young woman - Taysha - then told me she wouldn't listen to anything he (her manager!) had to say anyway. I shook my head sadly, then sat back down.
Moments later I overheard this same young woman bad mouthing me, right before she stuck her head around the corner. She confirmed to her coworkers that there weren't "any customers or families here." I got back up and approached the counter again, and asked, "So, am I not a paying customer?" The young woman reaffirmed that there were no children present - that I was sitting alone - again as if that somehow justified her language. I explained that the lack of children present was "no excuse for (her) language or (her) attitude." I was then told that she didn't have an attitude, that she wasnt going to argue with me about it further; I was again invited to "write (her) up," and provided with a handwritten note with her name upon it, before she stalked away.
After i drafted a complaint to McDonalds (their corporate division), I ordered more food, again from the manager, and asked him for his name. He said it was Shawn/Sean, and when I asked for his last name, I was told that I didn't need it, and that there was only one Shawn/Sean working at this location. Taysha ended up delivering my meal to the counter, asking me if I wanted fresh fries that would come out of the fryer shortly. I reminded her that she had nothing left to say to me, and was thus given a cold order of fries rather than a fresh order.
After I sat back down again I overheard this manager telling an associate that he "just (doesn't) care." Likewise, I over heard Tysha saying she "was trying to be nice."
Similarly, I visited less than a month ago. I ordered with my food a large french fry. The manager - again this Shawn/Sean character - pulled one of the lazy, top-half filled, bottom-half empty tricks, cheating me out of my money. I made a complaint to another manager, Sky, and was treated with contempt and openly mocked in front of both the staff and in front of other customers.
The moral of this story is that the employees here don't care - they don't care about the service, they don't care about professional conduct, they don't care about customer satisfaction, and they don't care about their jobs. Similarly, the people here are...
Read moreOrdered Doordash from here tonight. $60 worth of food. Missing 2 Lrg fries, no sweet and sour sauce that was asked for and the drink we ordered was a coke instead of dr.pepper. I call the McDonald's and ask for the manager who yea yea yeas me when I tell her what happened and tells me to call Doordash who will send the driver back out. There's a "new girl" who is only started 2 days ago. Well guess what, door dash doesn't have a number to call to send the driver back out(you should know how to handle this kind of issue if you're taking Doordash orders). If there really is a new girl working its your responsibility to make sure she knows what she's doing. When I pay $60 for fast food I expect what I order in the bag and you should be making double sure that the person prepping these orders is doing it correctly. This is not the first time we got incorrect orders from this place. Both before and after the renovations. It's common place here to tell you they have a special or that everything is in your bag and then either be given wrong items or be missing items. Check your bags before you leave people and don't expect any sympathy from the leadership here when your...
Read moreThis McDs is literally night and day with their service. I have had no problems with any of their food or service during the day. Night shift is a completely different story. I have waited on one of the drive thru lines for someone to even acknowledge I was there while 5 cars get served on the other line. Another time I waited 10 minutes at the register inside and even though workers looked right at me while giving other people their food not one word was said to me and no one came over. Lastly I was at the drive through and someone asked what my order was and I said "Large #3 with a doctor pepper and 20 piece chicken McNuggets. After watching all kinds of orders pop up on the screen she asks me again what my order was. I repeat the order, she then says large #3? I said yes and 20 piece McNuggets. When she asked me for the 4th time to repeat the order and all kinds of other orders were still popping up I had enough. I will now travel the extra distance to the McDs on Fischer Blvd. Its a shame that this store goes so down hill when the second...
