Shore Fresh Meal Prep — Restaurant in Toms River

My husband and I have been ordering from Shore Fresh Meal Prep since they opened. I wanted provide an overall summary of our experience. Paired with a consistent workout regime and a healthier diet, including meals from Shore Prep, my husband and I lost over 90 lbs together over the years. I included one picture of one of my favorite meals, Eggplant Meatballs over whole wheat pasta. I never thought I say this, but like them better than beef meatballs. Some additional menu items we consistently order are; sweet potatoe quesadillas, winter harvest, chili lime salmon, filet, flank, breakfast burrito, peanut butter protein balls, low carb chicken burger, low carb turkey burger, and chicken chili. The variety of items offered is fabulous. You can also adjust meals to hold the carbs. You can swap carbs for cauliflower rice or zuchini noodles. Shore Fresh is always adding new menus in addition to bringing back old favorites. We order online through their easy to use app or website. Their meals are portioned and healthy, but they always have delicious fun options to keep things interesting such as chicken parmesan sliders, bang bang shrimp tacos, big mac wrap or salad, to name a few. There is currently no delivery fee. We will be posting more specific reviews of some of our favorite items in the future. I ordered from here for 1st time about week ago and I order the meal with either zucchini, string beans or carrots but mainly string beans. I was really upset/ frustrated thst even after I heated my meal 1min 30sec like it says to do my string beans were so crunchy and hard they were not cooked. Even tried 2min and still the string beans were rock solid that in every single order that I had string beans in I had to throw out all the string beans which essentially is like me throwing money away. The zucchini was okay but cooked way too much that it was so mushy and soggy and carrots were manageable but also could be used to cook more. This meals are not cheap and when a customer has to throw away food in the garbage because its not cooked thats wrong. And I even called to let them know and the only response I got was oh that's how our chef cooks it ill let Chef know. Not im so sorry , can we do 15 percent off next order nothing no customer service.

I’d like to thank Dan at shore fresh! My mom is in kidney failure. She requires a very strict diet. I have been losing my mind trying to cook and deliver food for my family and my mom during this pandemic. Then I found shore fresh. My mom is super picky and loves everything she has gotten. She has ordered food from a variety of other food delivery services and doesn’t like them. Then we tried shore fresh! The food is healthy and I even emailed the chef and personally makes my moms meals w no salt which is so important in her diet. On top of all that they deliver!!! It’s fantastic, I no longer stress my mom has nothing healthy to eat if I can’t stop by and drop off meals or food shop for her. I can’t thank them enough! Really great service so glad I found them.
