Arturos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Topeka

Ever since peppas and chelas closed and casa on Topeka blvd burnt down. I seriously stopped eating Mexican food anywhere in Topeka. I couldn’t find a good Mexican restaurant I really love. I hate el mez cal too unfortunately. But this food is seriously amazing here!! Their salsa, Mexican potato’s, queso, and refried beans and rice are almost a replica to peppas and chelas and casa and I eat it at least once a week! 🙃The staff is always friendly and they’re always quick especially with take out! I don’t think I’ll love anywhere else in this town than them. They’re also super close to Hazel hill on Kansas ave so you can go get a dessert right...

Service was friendly. The enchiladas seemed as if they had been prepared the night before and reheated under a light. The chips were fresh and salsa was average. I was pointed to a portion of the menu with smaller portions and lower pricing. That section of the menu was accompanied by photos and so I pointed to the picture saying I'd do the enchiladas. I checked out expecting a six dollar tab and it was twelve. The waitress acknowledged that others had the same problem with the placement of the photos on the menu. With so many food options in the area, I'd not return...

Will do in a pinch. I work downtown and would go here if I really had a taste for Mexican food. The atmosphere was nice. I had the two taco one enchilada meal for 9.50. The salsa reminds me of watered down spaghetti sauce with an onion chopped in it, taco were just like the 50 cent taco from taco tico. Ask for hot sauce and they'll bring you another bowl of their salsa spaghetti sauce.
