Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Topeka

Will not spend our hard earned money here again. Sat in the bar at one of the high table. My husband and I sat down and as soon as our butts hit the seat our waitor came over and asked for our drink order and food order. We didnt even get our menues open. So we ordered drinks and fried pickles and waited at least 30mins before our waitor came and took our food order. He Constantly went to the people behind us and beside us, butThe only time we could get him to our table is if I said excuse me sir. Never did we treat him badly or complain, but it was blaitley ovious he did not want to wait on us...Are fried pickles came with ranch and two of the pickles were alread shoved in the ranch so when you took them out, there was no ranch left.Plus there was a chicken nugget in with our fried pickles, so that say something about food quality. What if i was a vegitarian. I ordered the just bacon burger, it had one piece of bacon on it where they literally cut it in half and split it down the middle and lets not talk about my husbands brisket burger swiming in sauce to where the bread fell apart and a teaspoon of brisket. I sat without a drink and oh the hamburgers which im pretty sure with out asking they gave us plant based. Dry, burnt, no flavor at all and hard even fries were hard and normally come in Those metal baskets are where thrown on the metals tray and if there where 10 each we were lucky. ...Over 40.00 was spent and wont be again. Plus when my husband and i both got home we both said our stomach were upset...we will find a new spot, being treated badly and eating bad food. No Thank you we will go somewhere they...

First off, I do not normally leave reviews... In this particular case, this should not go unnoticed. I have been traveling for work and looking for a restaurant that provides decent service and adequate food. I sat at the bar, which in most circumstances, offers quick seamless service. After ordering my drinks, I provided my dinner selection. The drinks were served promptly and dinner soon followed. When the kitchen server delivered my food, it was slide across the bar with no comment. I sat with for a moment without any utensils to begin eating. After the bartender past my spot 4 times and I asked for assistance, I was told I will be with you in a moment. After 14 minutes of my dinner sitting there getting cold, the bartender asked what do you need. I asked for silverware and to speak with the manager. She immediately left the bar... NO SILVERWARE! and I could hear her telling the Manager that I wanted to speak with him. When he approached me, his comment was "What do I need?"... At that moment, I was beyond outraged. I kindly expressed to him that I am on business and my job is to train on Customer Service and deliver the WOW! customer service to our Customers. This obviously is not the Chili's mentality. Not only did I not receive any form of Customer service as a paying client, they only wanted to get me gone. Well, not only would I never recommend Chili's in South Topeka, that experience has proven that as a restaurant chain, Chili's will never again receive any of my business no matter...

The service was awful. We went on New Years Eve, and our anniversary, to have dinner and watch the Chiefs game. Our waitress was snarky to us, wearing our Chiefs Red, right from the beginning. We were Chiefs fans, she was a Bronco fan. I hope that wasn't the reason. My husband asked to have the Chiefs game put on. She rudely told him he'd have to wait, other people were watching the current game, but she'd let the manager know. There was only one other couple in there, and they weren't watching the game, but no problem. She walked up to other tables and was friendly and personable. She'd walk up to our table frowning and bad-tempered. My sister and her husband got there. My husband asked for a diet Coke and she didn't even stop, but said how many. He didn't hear her. She yelled from across the room, I said how many. He said 1. She had someone else bring it to him. My sister and her husband witnessed our waitress' behavior, said the vibe was bad, and said let's go somewhere else. We did, to Buffalo Wild Wings, and had a wonderful evening with great service, fantastic food, and fun atmosphere. Loads more and bigger tvs. Oh, also more comfortable seating for older people. Those high tables and chairs are a hazard for older short people. They'll get our business in future.

We were coming in nearly every week for the game, all this season. We won't be back again.
