Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Torrance

Very poor customer services Rude manager. On April 19th 2024 at 3:52 PM.. We went through drive thru to order food. We ask for jumbo jack with cheese and two tacos no sauce.. Then we asked for 5 pcs It chicken strips and 3 pcs jalapeño pops. Ask for small popcorn chicken small size. Got coke and sweet tea medium.. went we got the order we was checking the order. the jumbo jack and jalapeño pops was missing.So we told the guy in drive thru. He asked for the extra chicken strips .Then he gave us bag with the jumbo jack and jalapeño pops that they forgot to give us . I feel like that’s not cool to ask for the chicken strips back after we touch it. I Never heard of that before usually a restaurant would say go ahead and keep it because you touched it so I guess is that OK to do that? I don’t think so. Then my daughter- in-law calls this location and talks to this lady manager. She was very ghetto on the phone. Didn’t carry her self like a manager. You don’t talk to customers like you are in the street. You show respect and carry yourself better. Maybe she got the wrong job. You act like a leader and make your restaurant a place people want to eat at. Don’t call customer KAREN!! Because they speak up..SOLVE THE MATTER.. So we spend money deserves good...

Only a month ago I really liked the food and service here. Something changed big time since then. What happened to the fast, friendly, efficient teenagers that used to work here? They served fast, HOT, FRESH food all this time until a few weeks ago. Big crew change. Not the ones I rated well a month ago. New crew is slow. Tonight, I waited 5 minutes just to get old, stale fries and the burger was NOT EVEN HOT. I thought you had to serve food at a certain HOT temperature, not one sitting under the "keep warm" lights for awhile. I also notice LIGHT TRAFFIC for a Saturday night, too. WHAT HAPPENED? Was there a change in ownership? Big mistake to change the old crew of kids. THEY knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, the new crew is slow, not too efficient. My burger paper wrap had ketchup smeared on it, but I especially didn't like that my burger was lukewarm and fries were old. Tells me that they lost some regular customers, judging from the lack of traffic, sitting in my car and eating. Too bad. I liked this...

Staff were friendly but there needs to be better training on health and safety and consistent food preparation. The cashier who was handling money, touching the POS system and touching other surfaces with her bare hands went to go prepare food without washing her hands or wearing gloves after these actions. I watched her prepare my tacos as she held the whole shell and put her dirty hands in the lettuce and proceeded to package the food, then went right back to handling cash and touching the POS system. She was also wearing a mask but it was only covering her mouth. All my tacos were also missing cheese and taco sauce. I went back to let another staff member know and they were great about making fresh ones and wore new gloves. I overheard her telling the employee who made a mistake that the tacos were missing the two ingredients. I'm not sure if the unsanitary employee is new, but there definetly needs to be a refresh in training so there is consistent product and emphasis on health and safety so customers do...
