I had a terrible experience here. No one around to help me or if I did see a worker they purposely would walk around fast trying to not make eye contact with me.(as I was walking around looking for someone to help me I ended up helping a lady find a certain shade of NYX lipliner and helped her compare colors since she also had no luck finding someone to help her. I worked at an ulta before and my store was so much more customer service oriented than this one.) I then found someone already helping another customer in the benefit section so I asked of she could find someone to help me. She looked annoyed because I interrupted her then told me there was no one and asked if I would wait a few min which I said yes. Waited a few min by walking to the next section to look at the lipsticks I wanted help with then I turn back around to check her progress and she's gone and the customer is on there way to checkout. 4.picked out my own lipstick then went to checkout to what seemed like the manager asking where her staff was and there was noone in line and noone to ring me up. The manager lady ring me up with sub par customer service and then she gave me the bag that was in her hand and when I looked inside of it to get my makeup out it was filled with hair like it was from the salon. So gross! Especially since it was someone else's hair!

   Read moreI scheduled a kids haircut for my 9 year old daughter at this location. Candice was the stylist that was going to provide this service. Upon arrival she was very friendly in greeting us. She then asked us what we needed for her hair cut in which I said a trim and long layers. She then asked how old my daughter was in which I said 9. Candice proceeded with the hair cut. Once finished she didnât even let me know she was done or showed me the outcome, I was sitting by the register with my back turned to the salon. I knew she was done because my daughter walked over to me. I then proceeded to the salon register to get our ticket. Candice didnât say a word to me, handed me my ticket and told me to pay at the front. I said thank you and she looked at me and walked away without again saying a word. Donât get me wrong, she did a great job with my daughters hair but was very unfriendly towards the end.    Read moreI am a loyal Platinum member who has spent thousands of dollars in the Redondo Beach ULTA. Although the individual employees are nice and attentive, the manager of this salon clearly does not respect the simple policies/procedures that should be considered when in the customer sevice industry or possibly it is something else that encourages this manager to show no regard for customer's time and satisfaction. I am wondering if the customer's race could be a factor. Apparently, the salon has instituted a new process to cancel your appointment, giving it to walk-in customers when it is expident. The store is also horrible at answering the phone rendering it nearly impossible and extremely time consuming to confirm via telephone. I have never missed an appointment but this was not considered. In the past, I had been told that it wasn't necessary to confirm due to the difficulty. Don't trust that your salon appointment is...
