Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Torrance

Not cool! I don't want to sit inside the restaurant right now, so I ordered online at 4:35pm. I was informed to pick up my food at 5pm. When I arrived at 5pm the employees were just standing around and hadn't started to make my food yet. The male worker with the earring seemed mad that I was waiting. He went real slow making the food and kept giving me mean looks. After he finished I asked why they didn't make it before I arrived and they're answer was that they don't need to serve me at all. and wanted to keep my food I had already paid for online. They were mad I questioned them. All three of the employees working on 4/30/2020 do not respect the customer and need to be trained properly. They were very eager to have a shouting match with me, very unprofessional girl working there. I have been eating there for a long time, and I've seen them go through many employees, maybe these three are on the way out too? I bet I get another sandwich soon and new people will be working there. 25 minutes to make a simple cheese sandwich and major attitude too. I mistakenly ordered online to this location. I called and explained how I was at another location and I wanted to cancel my order. The woman told me the sandwiches were already made and I could just come pick them up. I told her I was 30 mins away and already at another location. There was no resolution response from the employee. All I wanted was to cancel my order. Instead at seven months pregnant I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way from the Jersey Mike’s that I was at where I re-purchased the same order so I don’t lose money. When I asked to cancel, it should’ve just been a quick, no problem sorry for the inconvenience that’s it but unfortunately it wasn’t. I was once hit-and-run by a car right next to this location a couple weeks ago. I had bruises over my legs and my right arm as well as a torn muscle in my knee; sounds bad but it didn't feel that way to me because of the adrenaline.

The employees were super helpful in helping me with water and one offered to rush me to the hospital.

Outside of that unfortunate event, I've been a regular at the store for a little more than a year now and the employees are outgoing and helpful. They've given me recommendations when I wanted to try something new and their chipotle sauce warm sub was instantly my new favorite. They also have a unique small soft drink fountain selection aside from pepsi.
