I recently visited IHOP in Totowa, NJ, and I must say, this location is an excellent place for breakfast! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated right away. One of the best parts about this location is that the wait time was extremely low—we didn’t have to stand around waiting for a table, which made the experience even better.

The environment was fantastic, very clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. The staff here is beyond exceptional—everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive to customer needs. Our waiter, Quadir, was absolutely wonderful. He was very patient, took the time to go over the menu with us, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It's always great to have a server who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction, and Quadir definitely made our visit more enjoyable.

Now, let’s talk about the food—it was delicious and exactly what you expect from a high-quality breakfast spot. What made this location even more special is that they offer Halal selections! It’s not always easy to find halal options at mainstream restaurants, so this was a huge plus for us. The staff was well-informed about the halal options and even made recommendations on what would be best for us. Another great feature of this IHOP is the ample parking space. The lot is spacious, so finding parking was never an issue, even during peak hours. This made the experience even more stress-free since we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot or walking too far.

My experience getting hired here was absolutely terrible!!! The General Manager ABE was EXTREMELY rude to me since the moment I walked in that door. He's a disgrace of a manager with his ego walking all over him, his distasteful choice of words and attitude, he won't be going very far. People like him cannot manage anything. Absolutely disgusting how he treats the workers at IHOP. It was my first day training and I couldn't stand him. He never properly introduced himself to me, just approached me with a negative and unlikeable attitude, looked down on everyone there, which I thought was absolutely disgusting. I've managed many places before in my life and let me tell you the vibes wherever I worked were PHENOMENAL. The vibes at this location are off simply because of him. If u can't manage an establishment you shouldn't be. Period. Simple. I refused to be treated as just another number to him. That's how he intentionally treated me. ABE your establishment wouldn't be what it is without YOUR employees. Remember that next time you wanna hire and fire people who actually have an opinion or voice about the way you run a business. You have no idea what you're doing and just missed out on an incredible server who could've made you guys ALOT of money. People like you drive business away not towards. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE applying to work here as you will not be seen as a human being, you will be seen as just another number. Do yourself a favor and do not work here.
