Bon Appetite Bagels — Restaurant in Totowa

I used to order from here almost every morning because they're right next door to my office. I find that they began to overcharge me and the breakfast sandwich is either cold and or just thrown together. The quality of what they're giving me for what I'd pay is horrible. Today I just ordered a butter roll and orange juice in which I was quoted 4.50 and then the bacon egg and cheese on a crossiant with only 2 hashbrowns with an orange juice. That order was quoted to be $10.24. They still charged for a full order of hashbrowns which is about 4 to 5 hashbrowns. they quoted me $19.00 with tax and delivery included. I asked that they bring change for a $50.00. Again it's right next door, normally I'd walk over and pick it up but It's difficult as I can't leave my office. The delivery boy hands me $25.00 so I basically just paid $10.00 for delivery fee and taxes. The food is in the trash and I'm never ordering there again. This isn't right. Not sure who's running the place but it used to be a great place to order. Now I feel like I got ripped off. Overpaid...

I’ve held off on writing this review due to the ongoing inconsistencies. One day the food is good, and the next, it’s sloppy. The cook takes no accountability for repeated order mistakes, instead shifting the blame onto others—whether it’s the person who wrote the order or the inability to manage multiple orders at once. On top of that, the unnecessary slick comments about sweat and hands are unprofessional.

Customers come here to enjoy their food, not to deal with excuses or attitude. The experience of visiting this location has become frustrating because it’s always a gamble whether your order will be right. To make matters worse, the cook insists on telling you how you should want your food rather than simply preparing it as requested.

Consistency and professionalism are key in any food establishment, and unfortunately, this place continues...

I used to love this place, never a bad bagel on the weekend this review is based on the new staff working the last month.I stopped for 2 dozen bagels, butter and cream cheese. I told Maria, everything,poppy, sesame,plain and some cinnamon raisin. I get 6 stale pumpernickel, garlic poppy, blueberry and some other bagels exactly 24 no bakers dozens. And butter and cream cheese 10.00 a lb. A little extreme. On top of that this rude woman kept stopping my order to take care of other customer's. When I told her I didn't want the pumpernickel bagels, she said despite 1/2 full racks of bagels. She didn't have enough other bagels. Will never go back again. I thought you give the customer what they want, not what you have. 51 dollars wasted. None of those pumpernickel...
