Tully's Good Times Amherst — Restaurant in Town of Amherst

Tullys has always been our go to date night or lunch time place :) It was our place for about 6 years now and we now take our kids we now have along with us and its now our family favorite:) We especially love the Wednesday night kids deal where you pay only 2 cents a pound for their kids meals. Only thing i would fix about it is ti include more choices with larger portions for the bigger kids as well as including the drink even if its just soda. We usually get our favorites which mine is the Cajun chicken pasta and my fiance loves the baked zits and chicken parm. We also like the tenders. Past few times we've had issues with the pasta being too watery for whatever reason. We definitely aren't ones who like to complain but since we go so often, you better believe I'm going to say something for my $10 or more meal that is normally pretty good. The one evening we were at the Transit road in Williamsville location and both of our pastas were very watery. His was worse looking than mine, but he doesn't speak up and was hungry and ate his anyways. I picked at mine until I was able to catch our waitress. I told her our issue, she looked dumbfounded and only said let me get my manager. The female manager came over, was very unfriendly with her demeanor. Asked me again what the problem was despite me already explaining myself to our waitress, and not only was she unpleasant but she took it to a whole new level and had the guts to tell me that my pasta did not look watery. I did agree with her statement telling her that my fiances pasta looked much more watery and it was but he had already eaten half and again doesn't like complaining. I said idk maybe the ziti noodles weren't rinsed enough but regardless should I have to argue or further explain myself?! I was so uncomfortable. I was not looking for a hand out but without offering me another pasta or something different she just said okay I'll talk to the kitchen and offered us boxes for our food, mine was pretty much untouched. Never had I ever felt so degraded in a restaurant before, especially one I attend often. The waitress came back over and the Manger did end up removing my pasta from the bill which wasn't necessary but appreciated. I would have appreciated leaving our family dinner full and happy though! Clarence NY location Check#565870/1 Tab-3109 Cov-0 Server-154 Time-6:04PM Date-9\27\2021 The takeout bartender Service Very Good (5Stars) I was there just for take out. The Food: Very salty. I ordered 6 items:

1. Unseasoned SALTED fried chicken wings (2stars) - lousy house-made hot sauce (on the side). Super SALTY & way too much white vinegar, no true seasonings (1star). I make My own hot sauces, so I know what I'm talking about.
2. Ice cream Cookie Monster sundae - decent cheap-made ice cream (3stars), chocolate chip cookies very good, (5stars). 3} Strawberry-Coconut Margarita (4½stars) - GREAT TASTING, sweet, but not enough alcohol to get a child tipsy. It's actually child-friendly.
3. West Coast Chicken Sandwich w\oiled potatoes (4stars) - Okay, but I wasn't expecting whole potatoes.
4. Fountain Sprite Soda - (2Stars) - Stale taste. I wasn't charged for some reason, but fountain machine needs better cleaning. Sodas tastes like they're supposed to when fountain is cleaned properly.
5. Loaded French Fries (0 Star) - Here's My reason for overall 2 stars at this eatery. I was unaware of bacon on their loaded-fries, My Cousin bought them off Me. I ordered another WITHOUT bacon, just cheese. Whoever cooked them DELIBERATELY PUT BACON GREASE ON THE CHEESE FRIES trying to be funny figuring I may not notice. I'm 50+, I haven't eaten pork nor it's products regularly for 12+ years, not due to religion, due to pigs are NASTY FLITHY GARBAGE EATING animals. When a PAYING customer states NO SWINE\PORK (or whatever ingredient), YOU the cook must abide by that. Of course I didn't notice initially, until I got home noticing bacon via smell upon opening box, it was good enough for My Pit Bull, she eats almost anything. Dog-lovers out there may assume that's nice giving to dog. However, since Your cook was trying to INSULT Me for My refusal of pork I have to RETURN the INSULT back by writing this review a feeding Your food to My dog as a doggy snack. I never was rude about the cook until now. This business got $56 + $5 tip. NEVER AGAIN!!! Things like this is why I don't eat other people's...

If there was a zero star option i would leave 0 stars, Visited this location Sunday night which i frequent very very often, had a table of 5 people, we all got drinks, some got soups, some got salads, service was very very slow, asked 3 times for garlic bread as well and was told the kitchen kept burning it. Never received it by the way. not a huge deal though. The issue came when it came time for the bill. I asked for the bill to be split up between 2 and 3 at our table so two bills total, but waitress came back several times asking who had what, We then got our two bills that totaled $335. The bills should have been roughly $220 total. The two people at our table had now been waiting over 35 minutes for the bill and had kids to pick up so they paid at the bar and left, because they couldn't wait any longer. I then checked the bills and we were double charged for close to $100 in stuff we either ordered and were double charged or didn't even order was also charged for garlic breads i never received as well and topping on stuff i never got nor ordered. I then brought this to the on duty managers attention and was told they can not refund us for a paid order and they gave us a $25 gift card. I am in no way here to bash Tullys, i will continue to frequent the Clarence location. I am here to bring to light the shady business going on between waitresses and management at this location. Number one i was boned out of some money, and number 2 i had a $25 gift card shoved down my throat and told a restaurant can not do credit card refunds. Do better Tullys Amherst, cooperate will also be filled in on this. Would really like to know who else gets screwed like this and doesn't go through their bill item by item and gets...
