My family of four Sat down and waited a good ten minute before even being acknowledged. Mind you this was our first time ever at outback in years. Multiple servers walked by us. One male was talking on their cellphone the entire time cleaning (with the phone on speaker) It was 7:30pm there was only two other tables in the entire place so it was not busy. Finally our server Jaydn comes doesnt even apologize for the wait she grabs us drinks. Took forever to come back to take our order for food and appetizer. Finally took our order. We never saw her again. No idea what she was doing because we didn't see her in the entire restaurant...as there was only two other tables in there. somebody else brought out our appetizer no one ever once checked on us to see if our appetizer was OK. we all need refills at this point(i was even drinking alchohol never asked if i needed another seltzer, and I had to approach a server walking by and I had nicely asked her if we could have refills because we had no idea where our server was ??? she never apologized on behalf of our server and she got us refills. Finally another server came and brought our food... after we had our food Our original server finally came and asked us how it all was. We said it was good, which we had no complaints with the food. We did order an app the blooming onion , and it was not as good looking as a picture as it was greasy , but otherwise the food was pretty excellent . But we werent able to get more refills and our waitress was just very unprofessional and not personable at all. I myself am a server and I understand people get busy but when there's two tables in the entire restaurant and you don't even see your server on the floor it makes you wonder what she's doing . We spent $130 on our bill and I honestly tipped her five dollars. I wanted to tip her literally nothing but I didn't have the heart too. It was like pulling teeth to even get ger to come to our table To check on us. But because the service was truly so horrible (which is a shame ) we will not...
Read moreWe visited Outback Steakhouse on Niagara Falls blvd Saturday November 16th. From the moment we walked in the doors, our experience was other worldly. I have frequented Outback’s around the country, and this is by far and away the greatest dining experience I’ve had at an outback. Notice how I said we “walked” through the doors? This is because we didn’t even have to open them. There was an extremely kind person with curly hair waiting to open the door for us. This set the standard. Next, the host explained the wait time beautifully, and we opted to take a bar table. As we were walking to our table, an employee wiped off an already clean table, which was remarkably thoughtful. Then, the star of the night, our server Troy appeared with menus. He was friendly, explained the specials and even recommended some Bloomin’ petals for the table. What a recommendation! The petals were cooked to perfection. He then recommended the gingerbread cookie martini, which my wife absolutely loved. The showmanship while he was making the cocktail was like nothing I have ever experienced, it was as if Jon Taffer himself made it. He then took our dinner orders. I had the NY Strip, but could not decide on a side. Troy recommended the wedge salad, and after his petals recommendation, how could I say no?! And I’m glad I said yes, because that salad was the best salad I’ve ever had. My wife got the sirloin and ribs. Both entrees were cooked perfectly and were delicious. Overall, my experience was a 10/10 and I cannot emphasize enough how extraordinary all the staff is, from the kitchen to front of house. The bathrooms are clean, the ambience is wonderful and the food is the best. We will be back, and if you decide to give this Outback a try, make sure to ask for Troy. He’ll make sure your...
Read moreWe went during a Bills 1 o'clock game (I didn't pick the date) for a birthday meal. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away (got a seat facing a TV). Our server was really nice and attentive. We got drinks and appetizers ordered and things came out pretty quickly. The blooming onion was real good but way smaller than I'd hoped since we wanted to share. We also got the Kookabura wings, which were dry rubbed and were actually really good. Everyone pretty much got some kind of steak all around. I got sirloin and chicken combo. Everything came out at once...except my sirloin which was a few minutes behind. I think they totally forgot it because my chicken and sides came out plated together first and the steak came a few minutes later on its own little plate. Honestly, I expected better. The star of my entree was actually the chicken...which is pretty disappointing for a steak joint. The fries and broccoli were the same you'd get anywhere, even though it was good there wasn't anything special about the chicken. The steak though was a thin cut of sirloin and totally unevenly cooked. Was supposed to be medium well and the edges looked like they were there. Must have rushed it because you could tell they didn't leave both sides on for the same time. Wasn't bloody but definitely definitely not medium well. While it wasn't God awful everyone felt their steaks were quite fatty. Overall, it was a disappoint meal considered it cost $40 to $50 a person by the time you add in apps and drinks. I have had way better steaks and meals...
