I had an absolutely dreadful experience at the Chick-fil-A on Main Street this past weekend. From the moment I walked through the doors, the staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional.
As soon as I approached the counter to place my order, the cashier looked me up and down with a disdainful expression and let out an exasperated sigh. Before I could even say anything, they barked, "What do you want?" in an irritated tone. I politely requested a chicken sandwich combo, to which the cashier responded, "Ugh, how original." They said it with such contempt that I was taken aback.
I tried to smile and make friendly small talk, asking how their day was going, but the cashier completely ignored me and instead shouted my order to the kitchen staff in a condescending way. The kitchen staff seemed to mirror the cashier's attitude, as they were visibly rolling their eyes and muttering under their breath.
When my order was ready, the cashier slammed the tray down on the counter and glared at me, not even bothering to say "here you go" or "have a nice day." I thanked them anyway, hoping to diffuse the tension, but they just turned away without responding.
I ended up taking my food to a table, and the manager, who had witnessed the entire interaction, never once came over to apologize or check on me. The food itself was subpar - the chicken was dry and the fries were limp and soggy. I expect much higher quality and service from a popular chain like Chick-fil-A.
This was easily the worst fast food experience I've ever had. The complete lack of customer service and common courtesy from the staff was shocking. Read moreI was standing there for 10 minutes and they don't even take my order but took another guy's orders. Nobody asked me what I needed while the 2 workers looked at me. Son, if you are an introvert don't work in the service / food industry. Another guy even cut in the line. The cashier looked at me and then continued to take that guy's order. Fine, the world is never fair, I get that. Anyway, when it was my turn he just walked away. I waited for another 5 minutes and he did not give a damn. There was just me, one customer in the line, nobody else. He knew I was waiting for him. The most interesting thing was that there was another staff member standing a few feet away from me, he saw me, did not ask nor question why there was a guy standing in the line. Maybe this job even killed his soul. Hmmm, rough day I guess? Not sure why. Maybe he just doesn't like me for some strange reason? Read moreI am a fan of the chain but this stop was the not pleasing. 1st, I went inside to order. Usually I do drive-thru or order through app to pick up. They're was no one online.. just a bunch of orders through app and drive thru. Stood there for a few and finally asked can I place an order. The person told me that the guy next to her would help me . Okay... waited 5 more minutes. I then said okay should I order through app to get service? He then looked at me and almost said something but thought twice.. ya know a slick response lol he said no I will take your order now. I ordered 2 meals and he got it wrong . I didn't have time to go back and change it . I really was annoyed because there seemed to be 2 managers or supervisors there and totally unaware of there surroundings. They were all busy gossiping. Now if it was only a few minutes it wouldn't have been bad . But with attitude and wrong order and a total of 14 minutes for them to take an order I was annoyed.
