If I could give negative stars I would. The least professional company I have ever dealt with. No one knows what the other one is doing. I have waited for three months for them to repair my hot tub. Still waiting. They have one guy who sort of knows how to fix hot tubs and he has them wrapped around his finger. He works whenever he wants. Which isn't often. He never answers his phone, even when the boss calls him. They have told me the only way they know he isn't working that day is if they haven't heard from him by 11 am. The owner Bill told me that himself. He diagnosed the problem three weeks ago as a bad motherboard. This was after two months of us trying to get him here. Making appointments and him blowing them off time after time. Telling the office guy he called us to reschedule....He never did. Three months and he has yet to call me to say whether he'll be here or not. So he says its the mother board when he finally shows up. We ask him to order it and do the job. A week later I called to check on the progress because I hadn't received a call, as per usual. I'm guessing they ordered the part right after my follow up call as they said it wouldn't be in for a week. We had to wait another week after that for Diego to come to repair.....He doesn't show, again. No calls from anyone. He just blows me off. You can't make this up. I call to complain and they say they'll send someone else out. I ask if they have the mother board and they insist they have it. They send the kid this week ( 4 days later) with a new heater. Not the mother board they said they had ordered and had received. I asked if they had the mother board last week and they said they had received it. We tell the kid he was supposed to install a mother board. He says he needs to make a call. He packs up and leaves. He didn't even tell us he was leaving. Just left. Total clown show. Stay far far away from these people. I have had to leave my hot tub pump running, continuously, for three months so it won't freeze. guessing the pump will fail soon enough because I have put so much wear on it. Horrible company, completely inept from top to bottom. I would sooner buy a hot tub off the back of a truck than ever use these people again. Update....They now say there is nothing wrong with the tub. Diego must have just lied to us or we made up the motherboard conversation. It's unbelievable. Three months later and they say there is nothing wrong. So what did you order? Or at least, what did you tell me you ordered. What did Diego say was wrong? Why did they make another appointment to repair.....nothing? Why did they bring a heater if the heater is fine? They apparently never ordered the motherboard. The one I asked about three times and was assured they had received. The one I waited three weeks for. I think I would have had better luck If I just flagged down the first person driving...

The first sign of my good experience was their "low pressure" approach to making sure that you were well educated and informed about your choices for a spa. I did a lot of research and found that their level of knowledge of their product lines and competition allowed me to make a very well informed and productive decision in my choice of the Bull Frog Spa.
It is in the area of Support where they really shine and makes the difference in WHO you buy from. Upon turning the spa on we had some challenges. The circuit breaker was consistently triggering. Bill and Dave spent considerable and diligent time helping to diagnose the problem and consistently provided me with the assurance that the Bull Frog Product was generally without issues. After careful diagnosis, Bill and Dave uncovered that the circuit breaker was not wired exactly to spec by the electrician and provided a path for remedy. When we moved the wired everything worked perfectly.
The level of service I received from the two top people at this company went beyond the norm. Their attention to my challenges; the investment in time and energy; their expertise and diagnostic/service ability were all top notch. Most of all I found their level of caring for the customer to be something that is missing from most of the purchases we as consumers make today.
I felt that doing business with Long Island Hot Tub allowed me to maximize my Hot Tub purchase and experience. I highly recommend doing...
Read moreI was looking to purchase a Bullfrog Spa based on some research and some recommendations. I contacted Bill and the process was as easy as can be. He is knowledgeable, friendly and polite. I ordered the Bullfrog in October and received it in December of 22. I was not ready to install it until June of 23 due to construction of my new backyard. When I was finally ready to use it, I called Bill and asked him to send his crew over to install the cover lifter, connect the wifi component and give me a little education on owning a spa. Diego came to my home exactly when scheduled and was a pleasure to deal with. Diego did everything he had to do and shared with me a lot of his knowledge of basic maintenance, cleaning, chemicals, etc. He even told me that whoever designed my lift up deck is a genius. (I will take credit for the idea, but give my contractor credit for the details.) He was so impressed that he took pictures and was going to show people how to build a deck around the tub while making access to guts of the tub easy. Service after the sale is very important in this business and so far they have delivered. I give Bill, Diego, and the team at Best Hot Tub my highest...
