Strain Stars Cannabis Dispensary & Delivery — Local services in Town of Babylon

Hey so a couple things:

I’ve been a loyal customer of Strain Stars (in Farmingdale) for quite some time, and overall, it’s a fantastic place. The product selection is top-notch, and the quality has always exceeded my expectations. The environment is welcoming, and most of the staff members are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I always appreciate the level of professionalism and the personalized recommendations I receive.

However, I’ve had a disappointing experience with one particular employee on multiple occasions for pick-up. This individual has consistently been dismissive and inattentive towards me, which is noticeably different from how he treats other customers. I’ve observed him greeting and engaging with customers before and after me, but he fails to acknowledge me even when I say hello. On my most recent visit, he even attempted to attend to the customer behind me while I was still being served, without saying goodbye or acknowledging me as I left. This lack of basic courtesy and respect is troubling, especially since it appears to be directed specifically at me, as I’ve never known this person outside of the dispensary.

When I initially reached out to management about this issue, I was told they wouldn’t believe me unless I provided my name, which I was uncomfortable doing for safety reasons. The manager I spoke with seemed skeptical but vaguely apologized for how I felt, ultimately backing the employee without further investigation. I also asked if I could escalate the matter to corporate or a higher authority and was told there is no one else to contact.

This situation has made me feel uncomfortable and hesitant to visit the dispensary, despite the positive interactions I’ve had with the other staff members, who are always amazing and super nice. I was really enjoying Strain Stars but some of their delivery drivers are lazy and rude. My last delivery will probably be my last. I love the brands carried and having the variety I need. Website shopping and ordering is never an issue. Delivery time frames are accurate too. BUT none of that matters if the delivery process is done by a lazy, rude, disrespectful person. I stopped paying a small tip out right when I placed the orders and then adding some cash once they arrived. Instead I started paying an all cash tip.

Even though when placing my last order I specified in the notes field that I did not feel safe going outside to pick up my $400 order.. A rude driver called to tell me he arrived and I needed to come downstairs. His response was to nastily tell me how I didn't even tip. First off a tip is something extra and not an entitlement. When I told him that I tip in cash he grumbled something and then my Apartment Lobby buzzer rang.

I'm standing at my door with ID in hand all ready to go. Instead of this disgusting person apologizing for his rudeness he proceeded to nastily tell me that he has other deliveries to make. lol Go figure a delivery driver might have more deliveries. This disgusting person then went on to tell me how he doesn't understand why I wrote in the delivery notes section to come to Apartment door because I don't feel safe going down.. he's like it's not like you live in Harlem. Just a disgusting, disrespectful disaster. I regret giving him any cash tip but thankfully he did screw himself out of more than half of what I had...

It's a nice store, the girl Jessica that walked around with the tablet was very helpful in making decisions on what to purchase. Only problem I had was today with the girl that was filling my order at checkout. I put in my debit card with the code and after it went through there was a green screen with the choice on the bottom "I agree", and something else, I couldn't see it too clearly I told the girl because I'm i/not wearing my reading glasses on. She said it's nothing turned it away from me. She left it there and said goodbye to me but I said I would like to see that screen cleared, She said oh it's nothing again and didn't turn it to me I said can I see it... she started pushing the I agree tab, smiled at me condescendingly, and walked away, I said you didn't show me and she ignored me. I'd like to know what was on that green screen and what she pressed for me to agree to. I think her name was Chloe, with a lot of curly hair. The only reason I knew the name is because I got a text asking about my service with her but the text disappeared before I could even answer it, kind of suspicious.
