Conklin Deli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

We had an Early Mother's day celebration. Tired of ordering the same thing AND tired of cooking. we decided to order from this Deli. We ordered: At the owner's suggestion a Picada - to start us off- then 2 types of Pupusas, Pollo Orneado, casamiento, grilled steak, tortillas, platanos fritos...and - BEST FOOD ever! I don't think we would have eaten as well at any restaurant! We had plenty of leftovers for every family to take home! The food was delicious, flavorful, the chicken literally fell off the bone. The grilled steak was well seasoned and just amazing and when you paired it with the tortillas- it was as if it was cooked at home! One of the best, easiest Mother's Day- we have had in a long time! There is no way this place should say "delicatessen" out front. Last Sunday I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were terrible. They don't know how to make egg sandwiches, and they use old bread that they toast to bring back to life! This place is a BODEGA and NOT A DELI and my food was terrible.
